Not really, for me it feels like I could keep doing whatever I'm doing (running, sparring, etc) for all day long, it kind of psychs me up.

Buy a powercage, bench, barbell, dumbbell, and some weights from craigslist. Then you don't have any excuses not to work out.

Nah, keep benching and increasing weight. As long as you're making progress on your bench the resistance bands won't do much, if anything.
They're decent, as long as you get one that gives enough resistance. Just do a "bench press" type motion with it
