You can, the problem is you don't know how fast or if at all the bud rot will start to spread.. Safest best is to cut around it, dilute 100ml 3%...
Yeah just cut it out.. And if you want you can dilute 3% peroxide in water and let them soak in the bath for 2/3 minutes. All the crap and powdery...
