a few years back i started collecting lighters. I didnt mean to, people just started giving them to me. Next thing I know everyone is giving me a bunch of Ash trays too. So here's a few of them: I dunno who gave me this, Ive not stayed in a motel since I was a kid This one tripped me out because it's sealed like a rivet on the other side. There's a plastic part where you drop the ashes and this cloth is on the other side of it No explanation necessary Not my favorite beer either. I typically do not drink unless its a special occasion. Hey, there's a joint in that one, think Ill smoke that up now My grandmother gave this to me. It belonged to her grandmother. At some point someone carved the date 1902 into it, which was my great great grandmothers year of birth. I doubt it's that old, but it's still pretty cool that history is attached to it. The downside is that my grandmother and all of her family above my moms age died from alcohol or smoking. I dont smoke (besides the herb that is) or drink, so that should not happen to me Though I will celebrate with a cigar on special occasions. Bought this for a quarter at a yardsale These next 3 ashtrays came from a collection and were left behind in a rental This one I believe is all crystal. It's heavy as hell and could break a toe if you dropped it I joke that it could double as a weapon This next one is probably the coolest. It's got tons of designs on it. Like the rest, it was gifted to me and I thought it was too cool to actually use. So it just sits in a box with most of the rest, waiting for a day that I can put one on every table in my house haha, when the kids grow up that is Thanks for lettin me share this with you! ~ poke
Dam that's legit^ I have a buddy named "ashtray" tho Sent from my iPhone 5s using Grasscity Forum..💨⛽ï¸
Thanks guys I never really read the funny ones til now.....haha, i think the one with the kid who said his dads home means his dad is shit? Am I wrong?
your welcome i was gonna light a bowl just for your collection but stayed to intrigued to actually light it. that last one is super cool and also the one your grandma gave you.
Not an ash tray... but I have a thing on my office desk from a previous employee with a comic of the cow stepping on its utter taped to it.... haha Here is mine An old ring holder, use the fake finger as a debowler
look what i found lying around in my house. no one in my family has even been to new orleans and i didn't even think it was an ashtray until i figured to put a cigarette through one of the stars. so cool
Very nice, poke! I need to start collecting stuff..haha I do believe that the ashtray your grandmother gave you could easily be 100+ years old. Even 100 years ago they wouldn't go through the trouble of smashing out an ashtray from a rock. They would just use a nice hard wood or something. Could be wrong, though
