Hey blades, its been about well almost a year since iv posted any thing. I love GC i always read the forums just never participate. Either way i have a few questions for the community. I will be growing in my craw space. Due to room in the house and my roomie has a kid. I am very respectful of him and his child he dose not smoke so i treat him with the respect of never smelling it or letting it interfere with his life. Here's the specs any ways.. 48x24x48 grow tent. 2 6" vents one at each side towards the top and 2 4" on the bottom sides. 2x 250watt 6700kelvin veg 2100kelvin flower. Both have flash wings. Panasonic whisper line 240CFM 6" inline fan. Im thinking 6 plants. All ordered from gorilla seed bank. 2 berry bomb 60-80flower 2 Northern lights 60-80flower 2 ice 60-80flower 1 gallon smart pots Fox farm ocean forest So i have a few questions. With the fox far will i need nutes? i was thinking maybe cha ching and big bloom just before flower and during as directed ha. Ill have about 20-25" of upwards growth thats including lights an the filter on the top. Something like this 6 inches filter 6 inches lights 20 inches plant 12 inches for pots and the main stem. With lst will that be enough room. The buds will have to be taller obviously but will that be enough? Am i going over kill with the lights. Since im doing 6 plants about 125watts a pice. recommended was like 50watts a plant but i feel like bigger if i can deal with the heat will be better. Especially with cfl Ill have to bury the tent a few inches into the ground and build it in the rectangle cut out, since the crawl space is only 36 inches tall. this will cut off my main intake on the bottom. Can i just run 6" from the second top inlet and put it on the bottom? Thanks blades any help will be great and im looking forward to your inputs. Any one grow berry? Those lights will be fine. I use the same soil so you dont need nutes for veg, maybe some cal mag but thats it then I use botanicare pro bloom and cal mag for flower. I dont really understand your last question so I cant answer that
So ill have enough room to grow the buds nice? And my cab/tent is 48" tall my craw space is 32". So i have to dig a hole 48x24 and 16 inches deep so the tent will actually be in the ground and i have to set it up i the hole. Doing that cuts off my intake. Cant i just run 6" ducting down to the floor of the tent. There's 2 6" openings in the too and 1 I'm using for out take. Every thing under the sun is in tune, but the sun is eclipsed by the moon.
Oh I see what you're saying now, and yes that should work fine and that should be enough room, just do a lot of LST
Sweet i can pull air in from the house should i do that or just a filtered intake in the crawl space? Im worried about how cold its going to et this winter in there. I got a thermostatic fan dimmer. When it gets really cold you can turn the intake fan down so more heat will build up, or you can move the intake inside
I dont have an intake fan. Do i need one? I have a 240 cfm fan and a 440 scrubber wouldn't passive be better i mean with passive i have no worries about smell escaping because its a vacuum in the tent and every thing passes through the carbon.
