Heeeelllloooooo Blades and Bladies..... I guess since its the start of season 2014 I figured I should go ahead and start a journal so I can show what's going on in my neck of the woods. I have a lot going on over here. We run a full vegetable farm as well as indoor and out door MMJ growing. Right now I have 8 Pre-98 Bubba Kush budding out in one tent and I have several mothers vegetating out in another tent I have two 120 site ez-cloners running popping off clones left and right. I have the start of a good size light depo going with two hoop houses. Then we have our regular full term going on in June. Did I mention I'm a mother with 6 kids!!!! How do I do it? Lots and Lots of coffee!!!!! Stay tuned its about to get crackin around here.....
Ms. Rippa I'm so glad you put up a journal, your one of te most interesting and professional growers we have in out circle, it will be fun to watch you jam out with your clam out. Rock it sister! Edit: yay I was the first to subscribe

So ripped did you guys build that hoop house? I'd really like to see how it's attached to the ground and how the cross branches are lashed to the hoop house. I would love to see all the fittings and such so that I may McGyver one of my own. And that way when drew is done trying to build one I'll go and fix the shit he breaks too haha jk drew but call me when your done fucking around with it and I'll come fix it ;-) thanks ripp. So what's the plan of attack with the light depo? You guys run exhaust fans durring the covered periods? I'd love to know all about it thanks a bunch.
Don't worry Gold I will teach ya lol. The hoop is attached at the ground they slide onto 3 foot rebar that's pounded into the ground then a bracket holds them onto the boards that go around. They clamp together with these plastic clamps we found made just for this. Go figure... last year we used zip ties haha. I'm heading over to the farm in a few so I will snap some pics for ya so you can see exactly what we did. My hubby is a brainiack and can pretty much build anything out of his head he was talking yesterday about making kits and selling them.. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Grasscity Forum mobile app
Exhaust fans will be used in the light dep at cover time. Right now it's sup lighting. 4 T5 will be put in each house. Not fucking around this year that's for sure! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Grasscity Forum mobile app
Pulling up a chair, you're setup looks super legit!!! Loving the hoophouse. Sent from Chargers Headquarters
I am going to learn so much from you I can tell already. It seems your hubby and I are very similar folk. What do ya do on the ends of the hoop house to close them? I always have wondered about all these things but I don't know anyone personally that does it like this. Everybody in my neck of the woods just vegs inside then brings out and plants and that's it. No depos, no supplemental, no one uses the sun and it blows my mind, I want to learn the ways of the samurai...
Keep watching I'll show you. Today we are closing them in with freeze cloth then when it's time to black out we will attatch panda film on one end and the cover will block off the other end. You will see this is our third light dep and it keeps getting better and easier so you will learn the right way lol Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Grasscity Forum mobile app
looking good over here. I do the same with my ghouse use a 8 or 12 inch exhaust fan during covered period, I also run a dehumidifier if neccessary anda kersosene heater for colder nights. Were doing t5 supplemental as well for first 2 to 3 weeks to keep vegging and then we we will flip em. We useplywood end caps with doors and holes for the vent fans. Friendly neighborhood Macgyver.
