About 2- weeks from harvest just want to brush up on some stuff and see whats good. Any topics sticked or anything anyone would like to add is great. Also wondering about molasses aswell and what it does and how to use it and when. Pleasssseeeeeee go easy GC helpppp meee
Molasses is food for the beneficial bacteria in your soil. Some people use it the last few weeks, and some use it throughout the plant's entire life. I start using it once the plant goes into flowering. Not much to do with a few weeks till harvest. Flush and wait patiently
Flushing means feeding it ONLY water. To flush out nutrients and other shit that shouldnt be in there. Hence the name flushing. Have a good day Edit: i see you said you're about two weeks from harvest. You should start your flushing. Also, some people pull too early. Idk if you know when exactly to do that etc. all depends on how you prefer your bud too.
I watched a cool video this morning and it made total sense...when you have a cut rose and you put it in a vase of clean water the rose will suck up the water...well the same thing works to run all the crap out of mj...snip the stem at an angle at the base and stick the cut end in some clean water and let the plant suck it up....it totally makes sense and I'm trying it this weekend, I'll make a thread about it to see if it helps anyone.
The whole point of fluhing i to rid the nutrients from your soil, this way, the roots have no nutrients to soak up, which then means your plant will have to use up the nurtients it has stored up in the plant, aka, "the reserves" The point of flushign is to make your plant eat up its reserves it has, leaving a clean, smooth smoke. I give my plants double the water they usually get ..... my 5 gal bucket get 1 gal each .... during flush, i give them close to 2
