Finally Real Odor proof Bags

  1. People who say you cant hide the smell of weed from a dog are incorrect. Yea you cant put weed in a zip lock and wrap it 13 times and expect that to be odor proof. If you Have a mylar bag or MBB and vacuum seal it then sanatize the shit of the out side of it with bleach or acohol, then put it in a cycle in the dishwasher with bleach solution youll be fine for a reasonable amout of time.

  2. how bout instead of paying 30 dollars for 20 i gallon mylar bags. you buy a roll of mylar. cut it to the width and double the length you need it. fold it in half and seal all the edges but one. then the open end, fill it, then seal it.

so buy a 2 mil roll of mylar for say 30 bucks, it measures, 25 feet by 48 inches. that will give you 67 10" x 10" mylar bags

Going from experience, i used to ship using vaccum pack turkey bags inside of smelly proof bags, (all wiped down w alcohol and baby wipes, and handled w gloves.) they help, but arent smellproof, they still permeate after a few days, and if the bag sits in another bag or box for more than 3 days, the dogs will hit on it. lost a whole package and when they popped it in the Shreveport, Louisiana terminal, in the court paperwork, they lined my pack up against 400 (yeah i thought it was excessive too) other packages and the dogs supposedly hit on my pack 3 times in a row.
Be careful, lots of products promise stealth, but you dont know if they really work untill they pass or fail in a very inconvenient time. Be safe all!

  4. Since I buy the dank the only thing that works is triple ziplock. You should smell my car when I return from the disp I wish I could turn that into air freshener.

  5. "Smelly Proof" brand bags stop the smell aparent to humans, so its good for stealth, just not foolproof to dogs. My cousin owns a clinic in Vallejo, Ca, and whenever id vend to him i had to drive from sacramento to vallejo, and even a little half lb stank to the point were I got pulled over by a cop going in the opposite direction in a 30mph zone before i started ordering smellyproof bags from europe. he said he could smell it, luckily I have my Medican card and i was within my 8oz limit. (he did try to tell me i had to pick it up from the courthouse, untill he called the doctor to verify my card, and the "doc" set him straight...

  7. Dogs can smell the terpenoids no matter how you seal it. This isn't the first time I've seen these soldier bags being advertised on GC.

Only way to fool a dog is to use several dense layers just before a move to buy time before permeating through and then haul ass to your destination. If it hasn't had time to "soak" through the material/s then the dog cant smell it. Also you must not have contaminated any part of the vehicle. Someone else needs to handle product besides the transporter and not touch any of the exterior. Forget about "masking" the smell. It's bullshit.

  9. All this smell proof is BS watch Barry Cooper's vids doesn't work that way.

  10. Howdy:

I just spent several hours researching this subject and have a small (30+ year) amount of experience in the plastics business (and though I'm not a cop, or a police dog, I can tell you that if you really, really wanna stop as much of the smell, scent, etc. from escaping your 'storage bag', DON'T USE PLASTIC-ONLY bags, use Mylar lined bags.

All normal, every-day plastic has a property called VBTR (Vapor Barrier Transmission Ratio), which is a fancy way of say that plastic IS Porous! Which means, unlike Mylar, plastic breaths (allows vapor, smell, etc. to escape) and, of course, IT IS NOT A SOLID, IMPENETRABLE BARRIER.

Here's some 411 on mylar and why it's the barrier of choice, esp. when mated with a plastic substrate:

    "Mylar is
metallised polyester that can be heat sealed with a normal domestic iron or specialised heat-sealer. It has many useful properties, the most important of which, for our purposes, are its gas, moisture and aroma barrier properties, as well as its high tensile strength."

With the above in mind, I looked for and found the thickest, most robust mylar bag I could find and I found these thick, 7.5mil mylar bags, as compared to the much cheaper and very thin 3 or even 4.5 mil bags:  http://bit.ly/1cMzLCR
I also purchased the following heat sealer that is capable of sealing mylar bags as well as conventional all plastic bags:  http://amzn.to/H9Lscd

    Good luck and be safe.

  11. I traveled recently and went with Barry's reco, ziplock dropped straight down into mason jar w/o touching the jar. You couldn't even smell it with the heat until I opened the lid then oh boy juicy green smell.

  12.
I never understood why these huge traffic moving Mexican cartels with billions of dollars didn't just have some kind of sprayer system so every single vehicle of any type, or package coming from where they are, all are sprayed with some kind of cocaine / hash oil mixture. It wouldn't take that much and wouldn't it be worth it to them? All those huge loads you see on TV all the time, all the $ they spend on tunnels and subs etc. If they just took 1% and liquefied it into a spray, had someone develop a kind of secret sprayer, install it on the trucking scales, toll booths coming in and out of Mexico, each car gets a little spray. Those dogs would become worthless to the fuzz. Imagine all the waste after you trim your herb, take all the leaf product from the grows and use that even. The best method I've ever found to make a run is to bring a girl who has a cat and keep the cat in one of those little travel cages in the back seat. LOL

  13. When I travel I use zip lock backs, the secret is to put the bags in a liquid that can contain any smell molecules once they have left the bag.

I usually wrap up the weed in 5 zip locks, to seal up the smell somewhat,  Then I put the whole thing into new shampoo bottle. Then I put a few zip locks full of cotton balls that are packet tight around the bottle in the suitcase. The cotton balls may mask the fact that something is in side the bottle when an x-ray machine takes a look.

I go to the store and buy the bottle of shampoo with the largest opening. My father likes to use a large tub of Nivea hand cream, instead of shampoo. You can fit an ounce in a Costco sized shampoo bottle, but its a bitch to get it in, thats why my Dad uses the Nivea cream.

that is an awesome method. If I could think of something else to hold the molecules in. A way to suspend it inside what looks like a two liter of coke maybe? They make those little 20 oz coke bottles and mountain dew 20 ox bottles that if someone decided to crack open to look it has a few swigs of real soda in it. They need to make some two liter sized ones!!

  15. No such thang

    Sent from my closet

  16. I need a smell proof container now for my beaker bong. I may finally go to cloud pen and wax or vape rig. now that I moved and have less privacy. That smoke buddy could work, sorry off topic.

Couldn't you also just seal the bag and dunk it in a tub or bucket of water, then look for air bubbles

Not that I am saying put your weed in there before this is tried obviously.

  18. Problem with uLine is you need to buy 1000 bags. That is a few too many LOL But good stuff on this thread and no - freezer bags will NOT work. Trust me. Freezer bag IN a garbage bag will not work

  19. Did I hear potato chip bags? Are they Mylar?
