this is a small jade sculpture from imperial china where you cant see the insects but if you go here ( ê¥ß¬G®c³Õª«| National Palace Museum ) the work is enlarged and you can see the locust on the top right corner... art like this makes me feel so good about humanity that i actually feel honored to be a part of a race that can create such wonders (normally im a misanthrope)...enjoy: edit: i know this masterpiece is in taiwan and there are major issues between taiwan and china but considering this monumental sculpture was created during the 19th century, there can be no question that this is a chinese work of art...just trying to be culturally sensitive here
