it happens when you get a new game. some people get it quick. others take a while. for the vets that take awhile figering it out, when they do get it, they are at a much higher level then they started at.
I honestly play MW3 better while sober, I feel more able to really concentrate on staying alive while raping the fuck out of everyone against me. When I'm high I tend to be lazy, i,e camp. its a love hate relationship
Not sure if mentioned.. but play free for all. It's too bad because FFA sucks because of shit spawns, but everybody has to deal with that and you'll make kills off the shitty spawns too. It's the fastest/easiest way to work on your KD. If you're going negative in a game and don't think you can come back, just camp it out and try to make up for what you can I guess. Use hardline + specialist streak On second thought.. Don't camp, that shit's lame Or play a team game and find the closest teammate to you. Follow them and when they get killed pick off the guy that killed them. If you're gonna do this just watch your back and try to keep an eye on areas your teammate isn't so you don't both get fucked. This method sorta takes a little while to boost KD with, but it's simple enough. Use the ACR, Scar, or CM901. All great guns that will fuck people up quick.
Yea when I first saw gameplay for MW3 I laughed so hard for 5 minutes literally crying. Because its MW2+1. I mean not even upgrading/using a different engine! Thats just blasphemous. I mean unless your in it for the single player experience its not even worth getting. But besides my rant all COD is about is aiming before going through and corners. Whipping your aim from left to right as you go through those corners while aiming I might add ( Plus with the new perk you can move faster while aiming ) Map awareness / knowing the maps and spawn structures ( Where your team is in relation to the enemy team thus where they will be forced to spawn )
Stick to corner and edges. I don't mean this as in corner camping but your position. If you're on the edge of the map or walking along a wall you'll only be able to be attacked from 2-3 positions instead of 9. This is basically why you don't through the middle of the map. Set you're controller to tactical. You'll be able to respond and take cover faster as well as be able to aim while crouching and drop shotting. It takes too long to take off your thumb and hit B while in a fire fight. You control you're movement with the left thumb stick, it makes sense to control you're body with the right one too. Use your perks and killstreaks to work for you. Don't run 12, 14, 18 on support or 7, #, # on assult if you don't get many kills a game or don't clutch killstreaks. If you run and gun use perks that compliment that. On my run and gun class I use sight of hands, quickdraw and steady aim. Sight of hands pro increases gunswap time. Pistols swap out the fastest. If you're low on ammo and have to swap out you're safe. I use quickdraw and steady aim together along with range on the UMP. This is great for prefire and hipshots. If you see someone before you have your sights up begin firing and then aim. You would be surprised how many people don't shoot until their gun is all the way up. Limit your problems. Are you being killed because of where you are or are you dying because of something like loosing a firefight or being outshout? It's hard to give advise or improve without knowing what to focus on.

Start playing with good people then you will get better yourself. You just have to be on your toes in every game and know when and where the other team is going to be coming from. Start off with some TDM. I used to play Domination a lot but then I tired it on MW3, and it's just not the same any more IMO. So all I play is TDM and a lil bit of SnD. I have a 2.6 btw.

I won't spoil it for anyone who hasn't finished it yet, but the campaign is SICK!!! Best COD campaign I've played. So many crazy twists in the story.... I mostly play domination, gotta love good ol' TDM and ground war though. Seems like a lot of noobs play ground war, I always seem to score pretty high in it.

Learn the maps Anticipate how other players are going to move Test out some new weapons Camp every now and then Sometimes its best to go in gunz a blazin and catch people off guard. That is the most hilarious thing to do if no one is expecting someone to go kamikaze.
you will get good at it the more you play all it takes in cod is practice and playtime really. Playing since cod 2 is also pretty helpful.

Haha, I found this when I first started playing it. Got like 2 kills in a whole game but got killed like 15 times, fucking blew. What really pisses me off is that I'm boss at Special Ops and the Campaign, but I'm truly dreadful online.
This is how I felt the first 20 games or so. i am getting the hang of it now and smashing faces. Just keep practicing and once you have all the maps down it will become way easier for ya.
Take some unmentionables, and play for hours straight. No scratch that, days straight. You're bound to get some good practice. Play till you prestige. Twice. (if they have that in mw3). Just get obsessed with it. Kill those motherfuckers. BOOM headshot!
