    How To Make Marijuana Brownies

Hey blades I will start of this guide by saying this is Not My Information.

NOTE. This recipe needs canabutter if you do not have any cannabutter then scroll down to the none canabutter guide. :)

Although I do say so myself, this is the ULTIMATE Hash Brownie recipe. So good in fact, I recommend trying them without Cannabis Butter, because you'll want to eat so many of them. They're very moreish so take care if you do make the cannabis version – it can take up to 45 minutes to feel the effects, so don't just eat more and more – it could get very messy!.

    Cannabutter Recipe.

    Hash Brownies

    4oz (115g) Cannabis Butter
    2oz (60g) Self Raising Flour
    8oz (225g) Soft Brown Sugar
1.5oz (45g) Cocoa Powder (NOT Drinking Chocolate Powder)
    1oz (30g) Ground Almonds
    2 Eggs
Grated Rind Of One Large Orange (Important!)
    1/2tsp Baking Powder
    Chocolate Butter Icing/Frosting

Making icing for a cake really isn't an exact science – it's difficult to give amounts as you may have a different sized baking tray meaning more or less brownies, or you may just have a different personal preference. The following amounts are a guideline so feel free to tweak as you wish!

4oz (115g) NORMAL Butter or Margarine
    1 – 2oz (30 – 60g) Cocoa Powder
    8 – 10oz (225 – 285g) Icing (Powdered/Confectioners) Sugar
    2tsp Water, as needed
Maltesers (optional, but totally worth it)
    Equipment

    Kitchen Scales
    Sieve
    Large mixing bowl
    Wooden spoon
    Shallow baking tray
    Greaseproof paper / Wax paper
    Method – Hash Brownie Base

First, sieve the flour, baking powder and cocoa powder into a large mixing bowl.
Add the ground almonds, sugar and orange rind and mix together well.
Next, add the butter and eggs and beat the mixture together until smooth.
Bake at 150ºC (300F or Gas Mark 2), in a shallow dish, greased and lined with greaseproof (wax) paper for 50 – 55 minutes.
    Method – Chocolate Butter Icing/Frosting

Just mix together the ingredients in a bowl and spread over the top of the brownie.
As an optional tasty extra, smash up a couple of packets of Maltesers and sprinkle them over the top. Do this straight away so they will stick in the icing rather than just fall off when you try and take a bite!
Cut into at least 16 pieces and serve! If it's your first time cooking with cannabis, be sensible and don't have more than one or two in the space of an hour, no matter how absolutely fantastic they taste.

    None Cannabutter Recipe.

    Ingredients

    Oven tray.[IMG]

    Measuring cup. [IMG]

A brownie mix that uses cooking oil.

    Cooking oil not olive.

    A oven thermometer.

A small pan and a wooden spoon.

    A "gold" Coffee filter.

    A Grinder.

    At least 5 Grams

    Preparing the Cannabis.

Weigh out the 5 Grams of your finest Ganja.

    Grind Ganja.

With a measuring glass, measure out the appropriate amount of your favorite cooking oil (vegetable, canola, sunflower, etc.) as described in your brownie recipe.

Now it's time to get ready to COOK!

Pour Oil into medium sized saucepan and wait 1 minute.

Add you Ground bud in with your oil.

And stir with wooden spoon for 30-45 minutes.

Your goal is to aim for less than a simmer. Finding the optimal temperature on your cook top essential. Too low a temperature will extract very little THC from the ground shake. Too high a temperature will boil and burn the oil. Since all burners are unique, start out on a medium-low temperature and use good judgment.

When your finished with your oil,The oil will turn a dark brown color.

    Let it cool.

Now we strain the ground bud out.

Place your coffee filter into the measuring glass.

Next, pour the entire oil/ganja concoction thru the gold coffee filter sitting on the measuring glass.

Use a teaspoon (or rubber spatula) to scrape out every last bit of oil!! This is the reason we'are here today.

When you are done you should have just about (if not exactly) the original amout of oil you added. If not, simply top off the measuring glass with whatever amount of oil is required. Please note the dark brown color!
At this point we are ready to make our brownies. If you want to bake your brownies later, simply cover your oil with plastic wrap and let stand at room temperature until you are ready to bake.

    Here is our final comparison

    Now it's time to bake.
Everything we need to do to finish.

First dump the mix into a big bowl.

Add 3 table spoons of water.

There goes the THC infused Oil.

2 Eggs for fudge like brownies.

A few minute's of mixing and there we go
    [IMG]

Try your hardest to get every last drop !!!

    Into the oven.

How long to cook your brownies.

Experience is the best guide, but here are some general rules. For fudge-style brownies, remove the pan when the sides have shrunk slightly away from the edges of the pan. The center will still be slightly gooey, but will firm up during cooling. Cake-style brownies are done when a toothpick inserted into the center has a few moist crumbs attached to it.

To prevent burning the bottoms of your brownies, place the pan on a preheated cookie sheet or pizza stone.

When it's finished it should look something like this.

Enjoy and go easy on them ;)

  2. Looks like a nice guide Skunky! And, man the end result looks oh so good.

  3. Thanks man :) I know :yummy: it just looks so god dam good :D are you planning on making some ?

  4. I would for sure! But sadly I'm currently living with the 'rents, and they disapprove. However once I'm in my own place this will be one of the first things I make.

  5. Haha OK sounds good, i followed this guide and it got me a fricking dank batch of funky brownies :D

  6. How many do you need to eat to be where you need to be?

  7. 1 AND ONLY :D it can take 45 minute's to kick in so take 1 and then leave it at that or..........there may be some consequences :poke:

  8. Haha I have experience with edibles no worries. It's just that I've followed similar recipes in the past and had to take 2 to get where I needed.

EDIT: Could have just been my tolerance at the time though. :confused_2:

  9. Well that's just down to your tolerance and the bud you use, if your using good bud and you have a normal tolerance then i recommend only 1 to be honest but if your feeling the peek of your high and your sure you can handle another then maybe eat half or just go ahead and have another :D

  10. Just curious... Where is the hash? :p

Is it still being updated, I notice a recipe for brownies, and a boxed mix? They appear to be quickie-canna oil brownies. :)

  11. I know i know, i called them hash brownie's because that's the common word for them even if there not made with hash that's generally what there called, it may be different where you are but if you said to someone where i live hey got any weed brownies you would probably get a funny look :p

It's the opposite everywhere I've been, you'd get funny looks trying to push a green canna brownie on someone who assumed the 'hash' portion of the title meant, well, hash! Usually it's the other way around, it's generally a 'pot brownie', and if it happens to have been made with hash it's a pleasant surprise. I haven't heard of them referred to anything but 'canna' or 'pot brownies', in ages.

But that being said it's different everywhere, regardless that I've lived and grown, learned, and helped to educate others in the medical and recreational community, on several continents over the years, I'm sure in many places people may not be aware hash and herb are two very different things :)

Here are some Mango frosted 'space cakes', another term for a cannabis-infused brownie that is often interchangeably used for canna or hash brownies... these were made with hash oil, I use a mango puree and buttercream recipe for the frosting. I don't normally enjoy the orange(or any fruit)/chocolate combo, but these are hard to put down....

(And, just in case anyone was curious what a form of hash, and hash oil looks like... :p )

And to minimize heat exposure further, you can feel free to bake them in a muffin tray, for brownie-cupcakes :)

edit - At the time I shared the above photos in the CannaPharm sticky, I didn't really think GC needed another brownie recipe, so I dragged my heels sharing the full recipes... but I suppose they are the most well-publicized and popular canna edible :p

  13. "Not your mom's brownies"

    I like it.

  14. I think it's because i don't live in a country that's even considered Medical Marijuana i find people to be so much more informed about cannabis in medical marijuana area' but here 90% of the people think weed is weed and that's it, they don't have a clue what the word strains mean  but luckelly i found GC i'm a grower and know allot about bud and the culture :D But i think i will Edit: the name quick to avoid confusion.

Dam there nice i also checked out your thread today it's great you have got some mouth watering edible's there :yummy:

  15. Oh that's good ('bout the change), I was mostly giving you a hard time, I'm sure some others may have asked as well but it's not a biggie :)

And to be honest, it does happens from time to time even in the most relaxed communities..

    I do remember a few times, when I've handed people a gift, knowing that they love pot brownies, and after I've said "Now you know, these were made with hash so start off slow".. and, besides one or two funny looks, one time in particular I remember having it handed it right back, the person gave me a look like they'd lost all respect for me, and said;

"No thanks.. I don't touch the hard stuff."

    :D

  16. Yeh your right best to avoid confusion.

Haha what that's crazy it's so different where i live, the culture is just so different for 1 is't constructed of people thinking al sort's of crazy stuff when it come's to bud, someone gave me a hard time when o told them that bud contains THC the active chemicle that get's you high along with CBD ect...

They said "no you dumb ass it's the cannabis that get's you high THC isn't a type of weed" well i'm glaf i'm moving to Canada in September :hello:

  17. Going to do this recipe tomorrow and have done it before in the past successfully with around 4 grams of absolute fire. Now I ask the city for their advice. I have around 2.5 zips of fire ass trim from the last harvest in the freezer. Using this method (oil extraction on the stove) how much trim you think to achieve about the same effects as around 5 grams of good stuff?

Trim was all premium no fan leaves sticks or stems. Just sugar leaves. Thanks city.

  18. Well in that case you should expect a nice high from it, depending whether your plat was sensimilia that means basically as a method to attract male pollen she drips sticky THC all over the sugar leaves. If your bud didn't have seeds in it expect to get a nice high.

    And enjoy

  19. I've used the oil recipe in your guide many times, and I can vouch for it's legitness. I cook the oil at around ~250-280 but I feel like the temp could be higher. What temperature does everyone else do?

  20. I stick to around 260 to be safe.
