Just curious if there is any difference in just pouring my water into my soil rather than using a watering can or something that makes it seem like rain. I just use cut two liter bottles and pour the water in the soil. I wont cause root rot or anything doing it that way right? just bought my ro/di system and a trash can and was looking for an easy way to water besides filling up two liters or watering cans. is there something that would work like a supersoaker? where i can just put a tube in the trash can and pump it so it builds pressure to water them
from my experience, you run a risk of burning your plants if you get the leaves wet and there's droplets during suntime... i always pour slowly from a milk jug directly into the soil, i usually pour a few inches from the main stalks so as to not disturb any shallow roots
