Extreme Q to vapor bong?

  1. how do i hook my extreme q to a bong and is it really worth the money getting a bong, like what are the advantages to vapor bonging

  2. ummm toking tools?
and also i dont see how a bong can make it better vaping is amazing so i dont know why you would want it

  3. refer to my picture... I used the mini whip, and connected it to the mouth piece of the standard whip. so both ends of the whip now have 18.8mm GonG joints.

my bong is luckily has an 18.8mm Gong joint so I can just insert it to the female end of my bong. (if yours doesnt, you can get an adapter)

I like vaporbonging, it filters out the small particles like dust and lint, it moisturizes the hit so no more scratchy throat,

  6. I have a V-Tower as well, works like a charm.

  7. I like it, its pretty thick, heavy... I only combust on it occasionally, and it does a great job at diffusing the smoke, other combusting friends have been impressed with its smooth smoke and portable size. also started using hot water while vaping, pretty intense.

I personally like it because its small and perfect for vaping ...

the thing is pretty versatile, I can combust with it, vape on my Extreme, MFLB.
use both chambers or just one, depending how much drag you want to deal with. (which isnt too bad to begin with and none at all if using only the showerhead)

I dislike the stand, I wish it more glass all the way around the base, it can tip over easily.

there are imperfections here and there, its not perfect... but im dealing with it and it doesnt affect my performance and cant complain for 80$ shipped.

  8. Ok, So I tried it, and here are my thoughts.
Vapour is different than smoke. Mainly that vapour tends to act like a condensate. This means in short that the vapour would condense onto cold items before getting to you, So hot bonging has merit.

I have an old hand blown 9" from the arts district of 1990's Toronto. It never had fitted connections. The bowls needed stems about 8-9mm across and slid in a glass funnel with a long stem into the water. The globe is a squat 3".

I just stuck a short 1.5" piece of whip tubing in the glass funnel downtube & used a bag mouthpiece as the connector. I like the globes in that mouthpiece.

Furthermore, a bong makes a great solution to the EX-Q not having a valve on the whip. Haven't tried bagging the bong. I cant see that being necessary or useful.

    I'll post pics later.

  9. Planetevape has made a vortex gong that fits the tuff bowl on Q and has either a 14 or 18mm connection.

  10. Here are the pics for my above post.
Sorry my tablet has no camera flash.

I love this bong. I always have; But everybody else really didn't. But screw them, I've loved it since the early 90's when I bought it growing up in downtown Toronto. Nice handmade classic hippie waterpipe.

Now I think I found it's lifelong purpose. Tag Team match with the Extreme-Q. It's thick glass and can be heated or cooled to whatever temperature. I like it hot enough to need a coaster. Lets see your ROAR take boiling water.

Note the glass funnel stem connector, these needed a stemmed glass bowl and an O-ring. Tube fits like a glove.
