At night mostly when I am sitting at the computer my left knee will start hurting.
Especially when I get up it will start hurting.
It comes and goes. Aspirin and ibuprofen don't seem to help at all.
The searching I did online seems to point at torn cartilage or ligament.
I have been active a lot recently, rigorous gardening, digging big ass holes and shit. But it never hurts when I am doing any of that. It seems to be bad after I have been sitting.
Anyone experienced this? Help with amateur diagnosis?

  3. Yo.

I have damage to my meniscus in my right knee. The doctor told me to build more muscle in my legs to take some of the pressure off my knees, it's worked.

Also, I supplement with glucosamine-chondroitin and it takes a while to kick in, but I don't feel as bad.

I used to have knee pain everyday especially when dealing with stairs.

    Good luck:wave:

  4. Thank you so very much Ghetty.Green.
It has just started hurting when I got up to go to the bathroom. Now that I have been sitting down a little while it has subsided. When I get up again it will probably hit me like a ton of bricks. I have some glucosamine-chondroitin here, I'll start taking it! :)

  5. Over time, gradually increase your level of Activity. For example, when you begin to exercise again, walk instead of run. Warm up before exercise and then cool down all the time. To stretch the quadriceps and hamstrings. Change the sport of your shoes very often. Your foot shape and get good advice about appropriate footwear for the mechanics. For example, if you land on the outside of the heel and toe Inward turn when you walk (pronate), consider anti-pronation Shoe.
