You should be safe to plant outside by april 15th...you might have to cover them a night or 2,but I doubt it.. I jst dig a hole,clean out trashy roots and throw in some ferts and lime,and they take off.I also use miracle grow on them.Alot of peeps do not like mg,but it works for me.Plus mix in some chicken poop in yr holes if you can. I also highly advise puttin chicken wire around them,groundhogs will wipe you out in one session.Even 4 ft plants.
