Smoking Weed VS. Drinking Beer (Health)

Discussion in 'Apprentice Marijuana Consumption' started by Blaze518, Dec 22, 2010.

  1. But it works, and it works better.

  2. realistically ive seen nothing but bias and either nobody or everyone is winning. Bottom line is weed is illegal and research so far is not good or reliable. Regardless of what you want to say that is fact so everything u hear or read about whether it be internet or published book you need to take it in like u should be taking everything in and ultimatly deciding how accurate u belive it to be.
Also proper comparison is a must 1 beer is not equal to one blunt. Comparing proper facts is important too the fact they are both by definition considered a depressant is irrelavent to its health issues.
This is way too big of a topic not an easy answer. Also take into consideration bongs and how big they are they help filter out the tar you smoke and replace papes for a lot of stoners.

And yes we get it alcoholics we realize alcohol takes approximatly one hour to fully process out of your system so sipping a beer or equivelant every hour won't get you drunk. It is still a poision and will have affect on your liver because your liver still processes it, we call it a poision because its made up of shit that should not go through our liver. It doesnt hit our liver as hard as it potentially could because we havnt 'overloaded' it with poision. Realistically i havnt seen anyone sip at drinks and take 1 down by the hour that plan on drinking 2 or more
There is also the nutritious affects of alcohol no one touched on

  3. or you could learn something new....
your defensive attitude shows otherwise, and yes, he meant alcohol forum.
LOL through this hell hole of a thread, im glad it worked out for you man :smoke: hahaha
dont put any stock in the 7 deadly sins, they are bullshit...and God didn't say that or for any of the other 6.
    Doesn't mean it IS better
hit the nail on the head + rep:smoke:

  4. Both are bad for you in excess. Both are fine in moderation. I won't repeat about liver damage and lung cancer and all that.
Both are dangerous if you get behind a wheel. I know a lot of people want to say it's not as bad after smoking and there are way more DUI's from alcohol. It's also way harder to prove someone smoked marijuana.

Bottom line be smart with either one. You can enjoy them and never face negative side affects.

  5. Nice, best of luck. Remember, not everyone gets the full effect the first time they smoke. So they may not be overly impressed the first time. It's always nice to introduce some new smokers.
