As many of you know, Wed. is the day before Thanksgiving. Many colleges still have class on Wed. However, most professors just end up canceling their Wed. classes because they want to get home to family as well. I have a 5:30 P.M. Spanish class and my genius teacher decided to schedule a test on that day. I asked if it is possible to take it early during her office hours so I could get home. She said no. So now, I am going to have to go to class at 5:30. Take a test. Then drive 5 and a half hours to get home. Really pisses me off. I don't understand why any teacher would schedule a test on this day and not even have the decency to allow student to take it early. I was going to drive to Austin, then ride back with my brother to our house, but now I can't. We are going to have to take separate cars. God damn, so pissed right now.
Fuck that test, get out of there and go eat with your family. You can't make up memories, but the test is a different story.
Yeah my school does the same shit... leaving it up to the professors to have class or not. Last year i left a damn phone charger plugged in over turkey break and the bastards fined me 50 bux. Oh college...
I would love to skip it. But I am only making an 83 in the class. And I need an overall GPA of 3.2 to get to the college I want to next year. Which is easy, unless you're taking 19 fucking hours. So yeah, I can't skip it. :\ That sucks man! I had no idea you weren't allowed to leave shit plugged in.
Most teachers are lazy s.o.b's who only care about the paychecks they get and not the students at all.
