Hey guys! So I'm ready for a new tattoo and really want to get a good wrist one. I'm down for a short awesome quote, maybe a peace sign, anything really and I need some suggestions. No flowers, hearts or butterflies though! Also for anyone who has one on their wrist how bad do they hurt? I have a peace sign on my hip and it wasn't tooo awful. Thanks in advance
I have script writing going around my wrist. It hurt pretty bad I have a full sleeve as well a work on my back and chest and that was one of the most painful spots I've been tattooed. It's definetly not the most painful spot, but it's not exactly pain free either. Also, the skin on the inside of of your forearm closest to your palm can be very tough and the ink might not stick on the first go around if the artist does not go deep enough with the needle, which when they go deeper it causes more pain. A peace sign would be awesome of course! Or maybe the japanese symbol for "cannabis"! That would be pretty cool too lol
I got some kanji symbols of the things most important to me wrapping around my left wrist. All in a simple black with no other coloring. I love it!
I always tell people who ask this question: Come up with something yourself. Tattoos should be an expression of YOU. We don't know anything about you. What you like. Where you've been. Who you are. Where you're going. Your experiences. ANYTHING. Just think and something will come to you. If you're asking us you may as well just go into a tattoo shop and pick out something on the flashboard (those boards and books all around the walls with pre-done tattoos you can just point at) and get that. Be creative. Get stoned and really THINK about it. You'll find something
Also keep in mind pain tolerance is different for everyone. What may hurt for someone else may not hurt for you and vise versa. I have had friends tell me it was excruciating and others that have said it was fuck all.
I got both my side and collarbone done. Side first. Side was tolerable. Collarbone was actually enjoyable?
super awesome ideas so far-what about a melting clock that SAID 4:20 and about being original- theres pretty much nothing i could get that no one would have ever had before. I'm asking for suggestions because I want cool ideas-maybe things I would have never thought of. Just because someone recommends something awesome and I get it, its not any less awesome than if i picked it myself
yea if the analog wrist watch said 4:20 that would be like a little secret, it would be kool but, are you gonna think 4 20 kool 4 the rest of your life?
don't get a fake watch as a wrist tattoo, plz? i think i'm going to get my parents first and middle names in really skinny, kinda tall script (cursive). probably about an inch tall and three inches wide on the underside.
lol i wouldn't really! someone said the 4:20 watch and someone said melting clocks so I was saying it'd be funny to mix the two . And Dallas is a pretty far drive to get a little tattoo lol
i got the inside of both wrist done and the back of both hands....i could go on and on.... personally ...everything on my arms and hands i fell asleep for....didnt hurt at all....but everyone is different!!!!as has been mentioned.... it is a very visible spot! try and make it something that means something to you!
