Marijuana is the Cure for Cancer and Virtually All Disease

  1. It has been awhile since I have made a thread about cannabis extract medicine on this forum, and so much new information has come to light, I am compelled to reintroduce this subject to the GrassCity community.

I first learned about cannabis extract medicine (also known as hemp oil, but I like the other term better) about three years ago, when I saw the documentary [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pjhT9282-Tw"]Run From the Cure[/ame] (and interestingly enough, I first saw the link to Run From the Cure on this forum). It's about a man named Rick Simpson who figured out how to use cannabis to heal the conditions described above. Soon after watching the documentary, I found a way to contact Rick, and through years of talking to him, he's become a friend of mine, but just one of dozens I've met through this movement.

The most interesting thing about Rick was his trouble with the law. Back in 2006, he was arrested for "trafficking THC", and straight up told the judge he would not stop making and giving away oil, as it was saving people's lives. This resulted in him being arrested again, yet he was released both times because no profit was involved. Rick gave away oil for free and risked a dozen years in jail to do it, which you can read about here: Simpson released - Justice - News - The Amherst Daily News

I've focused on Rick so far, but honestly, he's a small player now. He started things, but it's grown so much. At first, all I knew was Rick. Now I know about half a dozen other suppliers of hemp oil, over fifteen patients, and I've acquired and seen the oil work with my own eyes. I've kept in long-term contact with several patients, and can confirm the legitimacy of their testimonies.

Also, it's not like this is coming out of nowhere. There are several studies showing THC and CBD, the main constituents of cannabis, kill cancer cells. In addition, there are hundreds of other studies (Granny's List - Phoenix Tears Library) showing that cannabis is effective at treating dozens of conditions. The compiler of that list, Granny Storm, is a member on this forum.

Furthermore, being that this medicine works within the endocannabinoid system, the thing that regulates and maintains homeostasis in the rest of the body, it seems that if anything was to be a panacea, it would be this. Dr. Melamede's explanation of the system is perfect ([ame="http://vimeo.com/12813110"]Dr. Robert Melamede Discusses the Importance of the Cannabinoids and the Endocannabinoid System on Vimeo[/ame])

There have been many purported cancer cures over the years, most of which have been quickly disproven. However, I have seen the hemp oil movement grow consistently over the past three years, and I often come across new patients and suppliers, each with their own experiences.

Another interesting fellow is my friend Richard Brumfield, who provided me with the cannabis extract lotion I had at college. If you didn't notice, several people on the floor used it with success for moderate pain, including myself. It has worked every time to alleviate the pain very quickly, although in some cases the pain went away completely and others it was just mitigated strongly. What I had was a WEAK extract, and Richard's ingestable "Elixir" medication, as opposed to the lotion, can achieve results similar to Rick Simpson oil. Brumfield came across his medicine completely independent of Rick, and a dispensary known as the Liberty Bell Temple also developed a cannabis extract medicine that cured cancer, independent of Rick. The fact that three people have separately reached the same conclusions lends a lot of credibility to this.

I'd like to conclude with a summary of all the pieces of the puzzle of this, as well as a list of links.
    1. Rick Simpson developed hemp oil and risked jail time to give it away for free to help people
    2. Many people have replicated the oil, as shown in the instructions of Run From the Cure, and have seen success with it
    3. Richard Brumfield and the Liberty Bell Temple replicated the results independently of Rick
    4. I have seen the oil heal bacterial infections that no pharmaceutical medication could touch. Even though when that happened I had known about the oil for awhile, my true passion was ignited in that moment.
    5. The movement has continued to grow and accumulate success stories, as opposed to people seeing it fail to work.
    6. There has not been absolute total success. I know some people who have seen partial success, like one girl who reduced her tumor size by half, and then the oil stopped working. There have been a couple for which it didn't work at all, but the majority of stories I've read have been highly successful or moderately successful.

Now for the links. There are video testimonials for both Rick Simpson and Richard Brumfield style medicine, as well as an interesting news report in Colorado.

Think about this logically. I have known several patients and suppliers for years, and the chances of them all lying to me and each other for all this time is 0%. I've seen the oil work myself, and existing scientific studies support all the results that we've seen. None of this is coming out of nowhere.

So, what's the #1 inhibitor to people believing this, despite all this evidence? "If it was real, it'd be out now, so it's definitely not true." I have pondered this question extensively, and at one point it created quite strong doubt in my mind. But from experience, I've come to learn why this is the case. For one, cannabis extract medicine is still relatively unused. The percentage of the population that is aware of it is so low. Second, when someone experiences success, they often do not try to contact any news agencies to promote their success, out of fear. Third, when patients do try to contact the news, they won't listen. I banded together about a dozen patients I know to email news agencies like CNN, ABC, CBS, and others all at the same time, and we don't even get a courtesy response. Even when people try to share their story, news agencies just won't listen.

Finally, on a spiritual level, I don't believe humans were meant to exist and suffer in pain. If Nature has the power to create Life itself, it surely has the power to create something that can cure our pain. All evidence points to cannabis being that thing, and I know with full confidence that soon, the world will realize this truth as well.

  2. I watched the first vid and thought I'd post. Although I don't know if I can believe that hash oil can cure any ailment, I'm glad to see that on the East coast of Canada there is a movement going on. You always hear about BC, or Ontario, or Quebec, but never out East.

What I really liked is that the testimonials come from older individuals as well. That sounds odd, but the pro legalization, and pro medical movements are usually stereotyped as young potheads. Its good to see that we have some other generations on our side.

  3. There are plenty of existing threads on this already. Feel free to add your new information to one of those.
