Hey guys! I'm new here; though have always visited since I started smoking. First and foremost I LOVE weed. I have been recently been diagnosed with Bipolar/ random mood disorder. I have always had some combo of depression and mania though recently, since I went away for school, it has progressed quite severely...I'm guessing from the stress? Please don't doubt the diagnosis, often times i have been so severely depressed that i stay in my room for days, cant get out of bed, cant look outside, don't care about eating, cant bring myself to do any work etc. and don't feel any emotions the other extreme would be me feeling as though i have an incredible energy/force surging inside of me that just wants to jump out and forces me to act weather that be running through the night, nonstop partying and sex, or randomly taking a month of a school to go party in the city and whatever other country I want lol, or it can be a mix of the two which is most often the case. sorry I know this probably seems incredibly scattered. I have been put on wellbutrin xl (which is AWESOME it def saved my life), and just recently trileptal which in the few days i have been on has already begun to stabilize my mood and calm me down one of the interesting side effects of trileptal (for me) is that it sorta makes you feel high or a little drunk, everything is a bit strange but in an interesting if not good way though it might get annoying eventually. Before the meds, which I'm still not sure i ant to be on, i self medicated with weed like many others with the same problems, it worked but also hindered me at the same time in terms of school though I know if i had not done so I would have been even more self destructive then I had been. I love weed. Smoking on just the wellbutrin was great esp since wellbutrin greatly increases your sex drive and makes everything feel even more awesome lol and decreases your appetite..needed to eat more) however, I have yet to try it with trileptal. Also I have yet to experiment with Vicodin or alcohol, cough syrup, or molly on these meds. Does anyone have any experience on these medications and what i have mentioned? Can I still enjoy partying with my friends and have a few drinks, robo trip, and get awesomely high? Any response is great. Okay, I hope this can help you while I may not be on Trileptal but I am on Wellbutrin and a couple other things as well. The only thing I can tell you is that be careful when drinking on them. Wellbutrin is known to cause seizures when drinking, now I have never had that happen but you never know. I can't tell you about any other recreational pills because I stay away from them. In my opinion one night of fun is not as important as overall stability, you may be stable now but who knows what could happen if you take the wrong pill... Now I'd just stay safe and do what you can. All of this is about taking care of yourself. And about the weed, I haven't found anything wrong with enjoying a nice high. Sometimes I may get paranoid if I smoke too much and am alone in a scary environment but I think that's pretty normal. If there is anything else I can help you with let me know. PS.
