would it be better to go out and get some of that dirt with minerals and all that in it or just use regular dirt?
I use regular compost, with around 30% perlite. Good drainage would be my top priority. I don't know about buying soil with added minerals in it, some have time release nutrients in it, i'd stay away from that, i'd like to control what nutrients the plants are getting. I don't like vermiculite,
