Great post. That just went into my reference collection.

  5. Thanks guys it has helped me alot to.Cut and past it into your e-mail under drafts and it will always be there to look at.

  6. hey guys when it says (ash) next to them does that mean u have to dry it out and burn it?

  7. yes it does my friend

  8. Maina my friend.....that is one of the most relevant, useful and informative threads I've seen in a long time.

I tried to +rep you but I gotta spread it around. Just know that this thread/post deserves it. Come to think of it, I honestly think the info is pertinent enough to be a sticky, but we'll leave it up to the mods.

To those that haven't already, you should look in on maina's outdoor grow project at the link below.

    2010 outdoor grow,organic,teas,and more.

    Again, great post bro,

  9. +rep for sure.

  10. Those are generic numbers and can not be taken as gospel. Too many factors involved to say that they will test that consistently.

  11. OK mister organic you take the time to come up with the right numbers and info and thats a bulls eye and post it.IT was ment for a starting piont !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  12. Right on maina...........My hats off to you for your work and the time it took you to compile all of these figures for all of OUR benefit. Especially with the extent of your summer grow and all of the work it entails.

Unfortunately, there are those here that have to puke up their negative vibes to make their self feel better. Just know this, and I feel I speak for our core group of organics guys/gals here.......Your selfless and tireless work to help further educate our long time and new organics growers does not go unnoticed.

I've been passing out +rep, but damned if I don't gotta pass out more to hit you up again, but for the record....you got it coming.

Thanks again maina from your fellow organic buddy,

  15. Potassium. A booted-out, knowledgeable former member in Spain used and posted about comfrey as a nutrient. Some very nice outdoor, big container plants. Can't recall if he quoted nutrient numbers.

  16. Yeah....IIRC......he made a fermented liquid fertilizer out of Russian Comfrey. I sure wish he wouldn't have been such a smart ass to the mods because I was really looking forward to seeing the results of his Kiwi 2 Pounders in the 65 gallon Smart Pots. Oh well.

Here's the thread for those that are interested.

    Cheers,

  17. LOL !!! You got to love kids.

  18. Cut and paste is compiling figures? Give me a break.

    LOL !!! Kids.

    :hello:

  19. And your contribution to the thread other than childish heckling is?

  20. Comfrey does provide potassium.

No way to quote nutrient numbers. To many factors that determine nutrient levels. UNLESS it is grown in a controlled environment and is tested to insure certain nutrient levels.
