Hey I was researching soldering irons to avoid the use of lighters for my bowls, and I found most people do not recommend using the cordless soldering irons. Something about the tip needing to be ceramic? Here is what I'm looking at HakkoUSA - Product Detail - Hakko FX-901 Cordless Soldering Iron Does anyone know of any cordless soldering irons with ceramic tip?
there's a reason(well, a lot of them) no one gets a cordless one... and yes, the heating element has to be ceramic
i have this one and it wont work worth shit for lighting your bowl because the tip is not ceramic. its not even that good at soldering ether its a piece of crap. and look at the end of the description it says lung cancer cure found lol what??
Lol, why not specify a reason instead of just saying theres a lot of them..? Really helpful to the OP...
Embur. Embur - The Original Cordless Flameless Lighter Pricey though, but to be expected for something that draws a ton of continuous current. Batteries reliable enough for that don't come cheap.
