My friends and I saw it being done and decided to try it ourselves. I believe the joint paper made the blunt burn much, much slower. Made the 2 g's of purp we were puffin' on much more enjoyable than normal. We were all high as kites. Has anyone ever done this or know the point of doing this? I can post pictures of it if you want.

lol a blunt rolled in joint paper? like roll a blunt...then wrap it AGAIN in joint paper? uhmm no that sounds like a lot of unneccesary paper and gross harsh papery hits...
Haha in all honesty, we watched The Carter Documentary and noticed that all Lil' Wayne rolls/smoked are these things, so we figured there must be a purpose, which must be that it burns way slower. As for it being harsh or nasty that we are smoking paper, that is not the case. The blunt wrap is already a tobacco leaf which is much worse for you than smoking paper. Also, a joint gives you a much purer high than a blunt because a joint is pure MJ, no tobacco buzz to interfere/interrupt. Regardless, I <3 Blunts and I loved smoking this Blunt/Joint. If Lil Wayne, someone who could smoke anything in the world, choses to smoke these, there must be a point haha but happy toking!
All because he can smoke anything in the world doesn't mean he has half a brain to do so. I'm not hating on this idea I'm just saying I'm not about to take advice on anything from Lil Wayne.

I was hesitant on bringing up Lil Wayne because of all the haters. Though you all make good points, and you may feel that Lil' Wayne is unintelligent, you can't deny that he has likely been smoking herb daily and consistently all of his life, which means he has a lot of experience, therefore he is likely an expert toker- but that is completely beside the point, I was just wondering if anyone had tried this before...

Ive only tried it once when the blunt i rolled had no sticky part to it, so i just rapped a bob marly skin over it and it smoked really nice.
I've been listening to No Ceilings. My roommate got it when it came out and it's definitely more classic Wayne. So I'd agree w/you on that for sure. But ya, I am on a phone so I didn't see that he rolled paper around the blunt. Maybe... When I used to smoke blunts, I smoked soooo much weed that all I wanted was for the blunt to last as long as possible. Because after the first half of the blunt, you're not usually going to get any higher so you're just smoking to smoke. Maybe that's why people do it...to make it last longer at all costs?
