Why does smoke get stale?

    it dries out
    the water molecules are heavy, hence they sink, as the smoke sits suspended in air, water is quickly leaving it, giving you one nasty tasting hit


    this is all a guess btw, but it sounds right, right?

    and to the OP- good question. not really sure. went digging and found this study about smoke. touches a little bit on stale smoke. check it out blades.
