lemonade out of lemons? hermie > male??

  1. i apologize if this is an insanely stupid question:
i'm growing from bagseed and am a couple weeks away from flowering. unfortunately only one of the two plants made it to this point. my question is if the remaining plant turns out to be male, would stressing it and causing it to go hermaphroditic make sense in terms of improving the quality of the yield? i've come this far and pumped a decent amount of money into the grow and wouldn't have the opportunity to start up another until next year. so, hermie > male?? any other alternatives to get something smokable out of a male would be helpful.
    ... but let's hope it's female

  2. i have never herd of a male going hermi, but if you do get a male grow it and make some hash out of it, plenty of help on that in havesting and processing section

  3. so it wouldn't be possible to give an erratic lighting schedule to a male and make it go hermie?
would that be desirable over a male? i was thinking it might increase thc levels, though it'd be seedy as hell...

  4. A male wouldn't make any bud, and from my experience, pollen (what male plants create) just gives a headache, i'm not saying hash from a male wouldn't work (never tried it). I'm not sure if a male could turn hermie, but it seems possible, however you probably wouldn't get much bud from it.
