I know some of the pharmacology behind both and how they work. I was just wondering if anyone has used them to potentiate opioids and how well it worked? I'm trying to ween myself as low as possible of some Oxy and am taking soma with it but still craving. I know both of these potentiate oxycodone; just wanted some first hand experience. Also I should add that this is in comparison to Carisprodolo's (soma) potentiation effects or possibly to add one of these in. Edit: I also have Hydroxyzine hcl (anti-histamine/sedative) which I take but it doesn't seem to do much. I'm thinking Hydroxyzine and Soma are both better than Meclizine and Orphenadrine but was just curious.
I also have some Meclizine, but after reading the experience vault at erowid, I'm a little skeptical about trying it. Erowid Experience Vaults: Pharms - Meclizine (also Dramamine II, Bonine) Main Index
Hydroxizine is the real name for Atarax. Mild anti-histimaine as you said. They prescribe it alot, its a more potent version of benadryl. They also prescribe it tons, for dogs. I find anti-histimines better for potientiating substances.
