What are you talking about? The OP's main point of this thread is that Obama is full of shit. Who are you to come on this sight and decide the main point of these forums? Are you displeased that we are talking shit on Obama? Well its a fact that a lot of people are waking up to the fact that he lies and is a sell out. Hope and Change, shit i hope he slows this change down or we are gonna be broke. Worry about your own threads, There's no flaming just heated debate.
Do you really think Obama is the problem? Would things be any different and McCain were elected? Or Ron Paul for that matter? You hear about Obama possibly being assassinated for the color of his skin, but I would bet that if Ron Paul were elected we'd be looking at another JFK scenario of 'who done it' within the first term... I'm not into conspiracy shite and all but seriously, but I believe 'industry' is what pushes the world forward and if you think that the heads of these major industrial monsters like oil, electric, technology R&D, the media etc aren't the driving influence on who makes it to the top of the hill, well... i dunno, i guess we just disagree. I voted for Obama and I suppose I regret voting period at this point, being that my original choice was Ron Paul and I think alot of other people's first choice as well... But whatever, it is what it is... rant on fellow americans! for that is all we can do!

agreed. Just because he's black doesn't mean shit. I for one thought, during the elections, that if Obama did win to me it would not be a surprise. To me I thought, hey this is America it'll happen because it should .. But he's a politician. People got sucked in to the whole "I'm black and I want change and pixie dust" Just a politician.
I don't think the Obama people have got enough flouride in em' or maybe mercury, or was it high fructose corn syrup, which is it?
1.) Obama showed support for reexamining or marijuana policy, he never said that he Would decriminalize it. The internet question was in reference to LEGALIZATION, something that OBama has never said the he supports. ( I too was offended by his response tho). 2.) As for Biden, Obama picked a running based on MANY different qualifications, that were more important than his involvement in drug policy. It would have been foolish for him to not select him based on that one characteristic. 3.) Anyone who says that Obama is a Socialist or Communist is ignorant of the meaning of both terms. He bought out the car industry to Save MILLIONS of American jobs it was a smart move. He is trying to decrease disparities in taxation and income b/c America is quickly becoming ( if not already) a Plutocracy. 4.) As for spending, I would agree that we are spending money like its water. However, it should be viewed as an investment, much of what we are spending now should bring a return in the future b/c of decreased reliance on oil, coal, better healthcare, etc.
I think his election had little to do with his skin. Given the utter failure of the previous 8yrs, a democrat was going to be president regardless. Americans were tired of the republican party as it stood during the election. Obama beat Clinton b/c of his message of Hope and change, it it was EXACTLY what America was crying for. As for complaining about racism, I agree that some people claim racism unnecessarily. However, racism in America is ABUNDANT at both the interpersonal and institutional level. African Americans are still oppressed, Black president or not, RACISM STILL EXISTS!!
ORLY? What does Socialist mean to you if not state control of private markets and centrally planning the economy? I agree though, his economic policy more represents Fascism, a merger of the corporate and public sector.
You need to stop watching the news for entertainment and realize that Obama has already usurped more power than any president in US history and we are headed to a complete fascist police state. Not to mention he supports programs that would further weaken if not destroy our constitution. Wake up, Obama is not your friend.
That 'might' is like a 1% chance, weed isn't going to be legal, the man is contrived from wall street, and that is who he serves, nothing is being done for your average americans, unless you think socialism and centralized power 'benefits' people.

This is such right-wing scare tactic bullshit. Bush came into office with a 800 billion dollar surplus and life with over a trillion dollar deficit. How about fighting two wars while cutting taxes (something never done in the history of America). He kept the entire war off of the books. Now that it is on the books the deficit looks much larger as a result. How about the bail out was on Bush's watch. The CBO and the New York times analysis the deficit and concluded that Mr. Bush is solely responsible for 70%, Bush and Obama 20% while 10% is Obama's alone.
