I know what you mean. I like using Humboldts thick wick with most of my pieces but when it comes to my big piece, on a big inhale... it does extinguish it. But try Beelines thick wick, I've found it to keep its like even after a big inhale... most of the time.
This is an extremely old thread, however I needed to post this experience somewhere Only just got some beeline in the post today, and my mind has been blown. I always never believed that you could taste the butane, however comparing the two just now, I have been converted. You literally cant taste bee line
