what is Wellbutrin XL??

    ive got a white 300 mg pill stamped with the word "wellbutrin"....what does it do? i looked it up and the website said it treats depression (im not depressed) but ive also heard its like a really big adderall pill :confused: help me out i dont wanna take a random pill for no reason haha

    I used to be prescribed to this pill.
    I know they come in different dosages and I dont know anything about the one you have, but I do know that if you took one pill of the kind I was presciribed nothing would happen.
    The pill treats depression through a stretched timeline so one, two and probably three pills wouldnt do anything

    It's an antidepressant and it's used for quitting smoking (aka Zyban). It won't get you high.

    I lmao everytime I see these posts were people want to take an SSRI recreationally.

    wowzers. I was on this for about a month and then quit. It did nothing for me at all. Didn't treat my depression and didn't make me feel any different. Weed helped much more.

    Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitor, they alter your brain chemistry and make you feel "happy"

    Actually they dont make you feel happy, if anything they have more side effects than they're worth. After a while you lose some emotions and feel like a zombie. SSRI's work on the brain over a period of several weeks/months. Doctors like to write scripts for these like candy for every little hint of depression and they've never worked for me. it doesnt do anything to you physically like an opiate or benzo or even tylenol or aspirin would.

    wellbutrin is a bit different -- it's not an SSRI, it's an anti-anxiety and anti-depressant in one, it's in it's own class of drugs. I take 150mg of it daily, along with a lot of klonopin and weed.
