Ready to harvest? (trichome pics)

  1. Hi everyone.

What do you reckon, shall I harvest these buds? (BTW none are amber, it's just the light)

  2. Hey Van,

If you're looking for an opinion based on trich's only, then ya need to take a valid picture. Trying to photograph trichs in HPS light never works...need pure white light in order to see if they are cloudy/amber.

Might also help with strain/days flowered....

  3. It's 7 weeks since the first buds, but I have no idea about the strain (bought seeds and lost the package- it was in Amsterdam.)

As for the HPS, I know... I used a flash on some of those pics so some of the trichs are lit up with white light but yes, pure white light would be better. I have looked at the trichs personally and haven't seen anything amber. Is it correct that the THC levels aren't at their peak until all the trichs have gone cloudy?

  4. At LEAST wait until all the trichomes are cloudy. Then you can chop whenever you want, but most prefer to do it before the majority turns amber. That's peak time.
