  1. Is this root rot ? I've been adding great white which is a dark brown color when mixed with water so i kinda think maybe this brown slime is actually the great white , plant seems to picking up growth ok i just did res change and same thing happened last res change when I cut roots before , any advice appreciated [IMG][IMG][IMG]

  2. Oh my. How old is your plant? And where do you keep your water level? New to dwc and my autoflowers are not growing roots like these.

  3. It might not be root rot... looks like maybe your roots are stained from the nuti but I'm not really sure can't really tell if there is slime hope this helps......:passing-joint:

  4. This is def pythium(root rot). wash roots off with straight water and change rez to Straight water only do not ph it until you see new white growth. Light proof rez and keep water below 70 Degrees. should improve in a few days

  5. They look healthy to me, throw in some h2o2 and move on 2 the next bucket :RoorRip:

would like to see her up top though, is she showing any issues on the leaves? If not i think youre good

  6. If its rot its very very early in rot.it looks more like nute/clay pellets dust that gets n water...the one pic u show where yur clay pellets r still wet they should NOT b now..once you get it to root you drop water level.my net cups r only wet like that wen i root

  7. O in ive never had root rot cause i drop my water n temps n reservoir r perfect but all pics ive seen root rot is black(usualy starts just beneath netpot)but the bottom of yur roots should b almost white..id clean roots n change reservoir like said above but id def ph the clean water

  8. Something looks funny there for sure. How old is the plant. The roots look like they have been eaten off. The roots on my autoflower plants are 2 feet long before they ball up in the bucket by week 3. I give zero fucks about bucket temps and have bucket temps in the 80's in the early parts of my grows. I only use Botanicare's Hydroguard. I start my water levels an inch below the bottom of the net pot and slowly fill over the first couple of weeks of the grow. On my current grow the bucket was filled to within a couple of inches from the rim by day 22. of course this leaves the whole net pot under water. I also go against the whole weekly bucket/rez changes and this plant on day 57 has only seen 3 bucket changes so far.

  9. Plant looks good bunz but water level does matter..u have def been lucky but warm water and 2 high of water level absolutly raises yur chance at rot.ill get a pic on here nxt couple days(my plants r 30min away)but my roots r very tough and tree like below my net pots which is what u shoot for.about 3" of root below netpot are n not n water.n this my friend is how u dont get root rot.dont believe me google "water level wanted in hydroponics"

  10. There is a difference between being lucky and understanding and perfecting your set up, of which I have done. This is not my first DWC grow and have done them all the same with record yields for the strains I have grown. To each their own is my motto. Some just believe to much in what they read on the internet verses what really works.

  11. Lol.whos records?lmao..mayb u meant yur breaking personal records.i currently hav 48 n dwc,non autos,54 outdoors.the couple pics i postd r not scroggd, but the rest r..its def begining stages of root rot brother..its like yur playing russian roulet n convincing him to try cause gun happend to not fire on u.its pretty much common sense warm water n high levels of warm water equals root rot...not forsure each time but wen it happens that usualy how..but like u said to each is own....
