Do you use a glass screen?

Discussion in 'Bongs, Dab Rigs, Bubblers, Water Pipes' started by Cadillac08, Feb 12, 2016.

  1. How many of you use glass screens?

    I do ..

  2. My bowl has a glass screen built in.

It may be a pain and a half to clean, but overall it is very much worth it.

Especially since it reduces the amount of resin built up, not by a lot, but enough to make an ISO bath less of an headache.

  3. I know they help keep it way clearer but they are a pain to keep cleaning after every few hoots

  4. I only ever use glass screens!

I try to only buy bowls with built-in screens anymore. Having it never clog + keep your piece cleaner is just the best.

  6. I use glass "button style" screens in my large Grav labs bubbler. Works good! Only bad thing is they get thrown out by accident when I'm medicated. Gets expensive..

  7. Not to sound like a snob. But I'd rather buy a properly made bowl piece that doesn't need some sort of "screen"

  8. we're all entitled to our opinions :)

  9. I always buy cone shaped bowls that don't require a screen or ones with glass screens built in. I prefer the cone bowls because the built in glass screens can be pretty hard to clean depending on how they were made

  10. I like glass screens for that reason cause you can just pop them out and clean them quick with a pipe cleaner or paper towel I had one bowl that has a build in screen and don't like it as much

  11. I usually use brass screens because they're generally cheaper and I'd probably lose a bunch of glass screens anyway. Since they're dirt cheap, I replace them after about one or two bowls to keep them from getting rezzed up.

  12. no I don't ... i've have always used metal screens. with the exception of using a ceramic button type screen.

  13. I like the daisies, and they're so damn cheap, who cares if you lose a couple here and there.
I just soak them in alcohol be rub them dry with an old washcloth

  14. Mmj wholesaler on google out of Nevada has packs of screens (250-500) for less than 5 bucks. Have been using a 500 pack bag for over 6 months and gave at least a 100 screens to a friend. Awesome deal for sure.

  15. What's this site you speak of googled but can't find it

  16. I honestly don't like the glass screens. I prefer plugging the hole with a piece of bud too big to go through and grounded bud on top of that.

My buddy uses the glass screens, but stopped using them after I showed him how I pack my bowls.

I prefer the glass daisy screens over any metal screen. They might be a bit of a pain to keep track of but they always seem to work very well!
