  5. I usually always get paranoia. But i want to think my paranoia makes sense. I live in a country where weed is very looked down upon, both by the people and law enforcement. So i usually freak out if i hear police sirens, ambulance, neighbours making noise etc. Im usually more calm if i smoke outside, don't really care if people see me or what they think.

  8. I have 1 good paranoid on pot story.

I was just hanging around smoking by myself at home when I saw a guy outside my window walking around on my roof(im on the second floor). I was not aware that roofers were coming to check out the roof and make an estimate so naturally I thought it was a burgler(lots of crackheads in my city). So my heart rate skyrockets and I started sweating like a motherfucker, Then after a few minutes of me panicking inside like an idiot the guy climbed back down and knocked on the door to give me info relating to the roofwork which is when I realized he was just a roofer. Scared the shit out of me. They ended up doing a pretty good job a week later, fast workers. I felt like Larry David after a CYE episode afterwards, just standing there like an idiot after he left.

tldr wake and baked and thought a roofer was a burgler. Probably would have just walked outside and said hello if I wasnt so stoned.

  9. It's not that I was paranoid that someone was after me or anything.. I was worried that I was going to have a heart attack, as my heart was beating harder than a sound-system with a bass boost.

Then all of the sudden I started fading out of the world around me .... time had come to a still ... all sounds became muted .. .. couldn't even hear my cat meowing. All I could hear was my breathing and my heart rate.

Cannabis does not make you paranoid , but it ensures that a personality with paranoid attribute will be much worse. .

And by paranoid I doesn't mean that is always that you feel that eerybody is following you and everything

  11. nearly everytime I smoke I get paranoid. After 20 years, I learned to push away those thoughts and welcome the giggly or abstract thoughts instead.

I know logically that swat team isn't monitoring my weed smoking and ready to kick down my door to catch me smoking weed in my home, but my brain says 'they're outside!'.
    Haha

  12. I get that paranoid feeling when I smoke sativa, but as a former victim of anxiety I can compare the paranoid feeling to the urgency and uneasiness of anxiety attacks. Just gotta breath through it.

  13. Never happened. Maybe it helped that when I really started smoking, it was to help with pain and not just for a good time, but even when I smoke just for good times now, paranoia's never part of the equation.

I also tend to like indicas better than sativas, so that's what I'm usually smoking.

  14. I threw up

  15. I don't remeber my first time but I've been through some sketchy ass shit. I shouldn't even be alive! But weed doesn't really make me paranoid anymore

  16. I always find it important to differentiate between what people are feeling.

Thinking aliens are about to bust through the roof, together with the entire SWAT team to haul you off to Guantanamo over a joint may be paranoid. Being more aware of the many, maaaaaany things that can go very wrong in your real life, is a different story and nothing more than a well tuned sense of awareness.

A lot of what people call paranoia is nothing more but an accurately heightened sense of reality. Fact is, we DO live in a world where people die, get hurt, go to prison, get sick, lose loved ones, go bankrupt, get robbed, etc etc. Since MJ is a consciousness expander, it also expands a person's ability to perceive very real threats that do in fact exist and befall people on a daily basis.

I'm not saying live your life in fear, of course not. I just don't like it when people blurt out "paranoia" when it comes to weed and with that line instantly dismiss it all like it has no root in reality. I'd argue a lot of so called paranoia is nothing but heightened awareness to potential real threats.

    It was so stressful.
I had only smoked a handful of times before, I was maybe 16? I went to a friends house to smoke and hang out, so we got there and immediately started hitting grav bongs. I did one and figured it was enough for me. He pressured me into doing 2 more, so I was soooo high. Then, I thought we were going to stay home and chill, watch tv, play games, that stuff. But no, he tells me to get in his car, and started giving me lots of shit when I protested.
So we go driving around. I'm freaking out because he's a TERRIBLE scary driver. He was all over the road and when I told him he said I was being stupid. I was convinced we were going to get in an accident, or at least pulled over. Then we go downtown, I don't remember what he wanted to do there. But instead of properly parking the car, he just pulls it onto the sidewalk. I didn't wanna get out because I was too blazed to function, so I waited in the car, paranoid and waiting for a cop to come knock on the window because the car was just sitting on the sidewalk downtown.

So maybe this was not so much paranoia as much as legitimate concerns, made exponentially more stressful due to being high off my ass.

Luckily, no cop came and I did make it home in one piece. Needless to say I never went to smoke at his place again. And we stopped being friends soon after too.

  19. What are you talking about. Marijuana is infact a pyschedelic just like lsd, mushrooms, dmt and so on. Just informing grasscity.

  20. I agree 100%. Like if I'm driving high I am aware that I could go to jail so I drive more careful. That was a bad example but you get my drift
