  1. hi im growing 5 cheese clones under 200w cfl one in coco and 4 in the wilma hyrdro with flood blue drippers using dutch pro nutes at 5.8-6ph at an ec of 1.2 any help or advice on the matter would be great thanks in advance[IMG]

  2. There's less light in that corner? A 200w cfl will only cover about 2sq ft and should be 3-4in from the top of the plants.

  3. Move the light source

or its a genetically weak plant a rant

  4. Put it in the middle, to see if it will catch up.......sometimes runts catch up with a vengeance. I hope this helps

  5. You definitely need more light on those plants. A 200 watt cfl just doesn't cover that much space or provide enough energy for those plants to thrive. If nothing else, add in several more of what you already have. TWW

  6. i have changed to 200w hps and i noticed that a couple of the strips on my crl were broken now i dont know if i have done it taking it out :/ or it was done when i put it in and the broken ones were facing at the back towards the small plant lol and i would of never noticed then :/ big coinsident if it is that but however im hoping that hps will be better ive got a dimmer ballast so going to have week on 200w then change to 400w then 600w when go into flower does this sound like a good plan any advice is very much welcome

  7. How many watts is the light you are running? Is it a 600 watt light that's turned down to run at 200 watts? Why HPS for veg? You will get better and faster growth by using a MH bulb. If you have a digital ballast you can simply just change the bulb. If you are running an old school magnetic ballast you need a HPS to MH conversion bulb or different ballast. The more light you give the plants the happier they will be and they will grow better. As far as the smaller plant it could be caused by a number of factors; light it receives, nutrient solution strength, temps, and most importantly factors is genetics. If all where started from seed you it may be a slightly different phenotype than the others. I would increase the light and see what happens, it may catch up or not but by increasing the light all the plants will benefit from it.

  8. right my cfl was broken on one side so had to change to hps which is turned down to 200 will they not veg aswell with hps? if i have to get a new bulb would cfl 300w be better than a MH bulb? it is a digital ballast aswell so cud use MH but want best result for cheapest lol

  9. Get a mh bulb and use that. It produces more light than CFL and the color of light it produces promotes vegetive growth. The more intense the light the fast and healthier they grow. Throw the CFL in the trash or use for new clones at best.

  10. I ordered 600 MH bulbs for $22 each on Amazon. Use that for veg and use the HPS when you flip to flower. I promise you will see I roved results. Good luck.

  11. i like to rotate my plants when they are that size.

  12. starting out clones with cfl is kool however soon you will have to through something in there with hair inbits balls like the mh bulb or even and led... Your tiny girl may just be stunted due to handling maybe slower root development ID take her out of the drip system and hand feed her gentle nutes and care untill she catches up and can take the level the others are on...yes you get a diff par within the optimal growth lumens if your light therefore could be the reason behind it to but with all others doing fine and maybe a low par in that single corner doesn't fit as good as some other explanations...check out the root.stress hit her wrong and she will stay small and week. If it's small root ball or even disposition to accommodate your little girl then maybe give her some time sh may catch up or hell spray her turn her male and seed a section of your other plants. Make femenized seeds.
