Split a 4x2 tent for flowering

  1. What's up everyone? New to this whole thing and want some input. I have a 2x2 tent that I want to use for veg/clones and will be getting a 4x2 soon for flower. i want to split the 4x2 into two 2x2's, start flowering 3 plants on one side and then put 3 more plants on the other side 1 month later to get the perpetual grow going and keep a rotation of veg, 3 plants at 1 month of flower and 3 plants fresh into flower. The reason I want to split it is so that the older plants don't canopy over the newer flower plants and take away light. I plan on having two 300 watt leds. (One for each side of 4x2)
Will this work? What should I divide the room with? Would a white sheet cut to size work?

  2. For less than $40 you could get some 6mil or heavier black plastic sheeting, some Gorilla Tape, and some sticky zippers/velcro for a door. The plastic will be lightweight and will stretch a little bit for a nice tight fit.

  3. I wouldn't sweat dividing the tent. Especially if you have 2 lights to hang independently on each side. Just keep your plants to one side with one light until the others go in. Then they can be on the same timer and share the light from each other. If your going to try and go perpetual, there's no reason to section off the tent as you will be running plants in and out on a rotation.

I have a 3x3 and a 4x2 tents that I use. 2 at a time and 6-8 plants in the 4x2 worked well for me.
