Going into the military soon, worried about MEPS drug test..

  1. Here is a little info,
    I'm 6'0 175 pounds
    Smoked between 4-7 grams a week, but not every week for almost a year.
    I quit smoking around 1/16/16, been drinking a case of water a day and then some.
    I will be going to meps sometime next Thursday, if I keep drinking water and little bit of exercise should I be under 50ng/ml or post pone another week?


     
  2. Just have your recruiter test you at his office before you're suppose to go, if you fail then wait another week or two. If you fail at MEPS your recruiter is going to be pissed.

  3. I would delay for at least a month for a few reasons.
    The cutoff is 15 ng/mL.
    They will also test again with a week to ten days after you are in Basic.
    During that time you will be exercising and more THC can dissolve out of your system.

    By my understanding I think they send it off to lab where they retest at a 15ng/ml if you fail the first one. I guess to check for false positive

    Family issues do arrive and can cause delays.

  8. Also drink a lot of alcohol and eat mushrooms. They are natural antioxidants and alcohol makes you sweat more the next day.

  9. Just lay off the weed, drink water and other fluids, stay active, exercise if you can (don't go overboard with water or exercise) and excrete, excrete, excrete (piss away).
