This is the first time I've ever posted on this forum and I'm a NOOB grower so any and all advice is welcome. Strain 3x Feminized Mammoth (Snow Cap x LA Confidential) Breeder Reserva Privada Colorado(rpc) Setup 3x3x7 sun hut tent 100 tot wat 4 lamp t5 on 18/6 timer with 2 6500k and 2 4000k lamps Black ops 4" carbon filter Hurricane 4" 170 cfm inline fan 3 ft tower fan 100w dual heating and cooling fan Prop tray 2 3ga buckets 1 5 gbuckets Medium/nutes I'll be doing this grow in tubar General hydroponics flora series Temp 78.3 humidity 85%(in prop dome) I started propagation today into grodan root cubes will update when they sprout. One question I do have due to the fact I live in co and we have very dry air my humidity is sitting around 15% in my tent any suggestions how to get that up to where it should be? My tent stays right around 70-75 degrees all the time.
Once you have pots in there with plants the humidity will rise some. The larger the plants the more they transpire. Waterings will raise humidity as well.
Thanks for the info atticspace. Checked today and one is just starting to poke thru the top of its grow cube hoping the other 2 follow suit soon. Ill include pics with my next update after tge other two germ. When should I remove the humidity dome when they get transplanted or after a few days?
so all three have germinated the one is the middle should be making its final break today and the one on the left just broke out today. I plan on leaving the dome on for the next week then transplanting them into beer cups. Also I plan on giving ro water in a mist on the dome and keeping the grow cubes moist.
transplanted them today and gave them there first feed the one on the top and the one on the right seem to be doing just fine in there new homes. The one on the bottom however, I dont think she's gonna make it.
Way too early to be feeding them. Let them get established. Once the seedling leaves, the little round ones, start to yellow then you can feed. They should have three or four sets of real leaves by then. Good luck. Peace and pot!
Since my last update one died after germination. I feel I was the reason for that one. The two that remain are doing great just got done growing there second set of true leaves. This is where I'm going to mod there feeding schedules. Plant 1 will be fert/fert/water ect where as plant 2 will be fert/water/fert/water ect. This is to satisfy my curiosity over how often I should feed and how they will respond side by side as the only difference between the two now is the feeding schedule. I'll provide pics within the next few days during my next update. Temp 72.3 Humidity ~23%
Sorry for the delay in upadtes it's been a hectic week. I have updated pics as well as pics over the last couple of days. My phone is not co-operation with me so I'll have to find my laptop to upload more pics. #1 looks like it's doing well it poped out its 3 finger leaves and working on its 5 finger leaves. I did notice slight curling on the single finger leaves. cup felt light and one knuckle deep was dry so I watered with ph 7 water and I'll keep an eye out to see if there's any improvement. #2 looks good as well not growing as quickly as #1 but is starting to show five finger leaves. Same slight curling on single finger leaves medium on this one appeared bone dry so watered with ph 7 and will keep an eye on this one as well.
