Small Hole in Oil Rig

Discussion in 'Smoking Accessories Q&A' started by kjkjogoug, Feb 3, 2016.

  1. There is a small hole in my oil rig due to manufacturer error. It hits fine but I would like to patch the hole somehow. I've heard of glues and such but I'm heating up this thing with a torch it would have to be able to sustain extreme heat. Do you guys have any ideas on patching the hole? Whether it's glue or something else, let me know!

  2. Get it replaced. Why wouldn't you?

  3. high heat epoxy. Get it at a hardware or auto parts store.

  4. You sure its not a carb hole?

My husband said to try liquid glass.

  6. Where is the hole in relation to the nail? I had a small bubbler that had a leak in the union between the stem and the reservoir and i fixed it with some epoxy. No heat in that area, just needed to keep the water in.
