Should I refrigerate coconut canna oil?

Discussion in 'Weed Edibles' started by TotallyToked, Jan 31, 2016.

  1. I just made my first batch following badkat's recipe (made with 1oz of herb, ~16 tbsp of coconut oil).
I currently have it in my canna cabinet (lockable metal cabinet) since coconut oil says it doesn't need to be refrigerated. (Just finished it today though, so its only been there for 30 minutes or so so far.)

Her recipe didn't mention storage--do I need to store it in the fridge? Or is a dark cabinet ok? I think it will last me a couple months at least, possibly more (not sure on how much I need in a dose yet, figuring that out soon). So I don't want it to go bad on me :-D.

  2. Doesn't really matter, I always put mine in the fridge.

  3. I would agree with dankness. Though coconut oil does not need to be refrigerated, I always put my canna-coconut oil in to the freezer.
