Ok so this is my first grow and they're dying. The lower leaves are turning yellow and getting brown spots and dying. The plant is also droopy. I'm pretty sure I overwatered them a few days ago and was wondering if that's what caused this and if it will even live?Im not sure what to do so if anyone could help that would be great.[IMG]//images.tapatalk-cdn.com/16/01/30/9621f855f850bece14d26a291a5127bf.jpg>//images.tapatalk-cdn.com/16/01/30/9621f855f850bece14d26a291a5127bf.jpg</a>>//images.tapatalk-cdn.com/16/01/30/9621f855f850bece14d26a291a5127bf.jpg>//images.tapatalk-cdn.com/16/01/30/9621f855f850bece14d26a291a5127bf.jpg</a></a>>//images.tapatalk-cdn.com/16/01/30/9621f855f850bece14d26a291a5127bf.jpg>//images.tapatalk-cdn.com/16/01/30/9621f855f850bece14d26a291a5127bf.jpg</a>>//images.tapatalk-cdn.com/16/01/30/9621f855f850bece14d26a291a5127bf.jpg>//images.tapatalk-cdn.com/16/01/30/9621f855f850bece14d26a291a5127bf.jpg</a></a></a></a>' alt='Posted Image' class='bbc_img' />[IMG]//images.tapatalk-cdn.com/16/01/30/93c4e78e8e11bc3c3c3f61a5f5a44f8d.jpg>//images.tapatalk-cdn.com/16/01/30/93c4e78e8e11bc3c3c3f61a5f5a44f8d.jpg</a>>//images.tapatalk-cdn.com/16/01/30/93c4e78e8e11bc3c3c3f61a5f5a44f8d.jpg>//images.tapatalk-cdn.com/16/01/30/93c4e78e8e11bc3c3c3f61a5f5a44f8d.jpg</a></a>>//images.tapatalk-cdn.com/16/01/30/93c4e78e8e11bc3c3c3f61a5f5a44f8d.jpg>//images.tapatalk-cdn.com/16/01/30/93c4e78e8e11bc3c3c3f61a5f5a44f8d.jpg</a>>//images.tapatalk-cdn.com/16/01/30/93c4e78e8e11bc3c3c3f61a5f5a44f8d.jpg>//images.tapatalk-cdn.com/16/01/30/93c4e78e8e11bc3c3c3f61a5f5a44f8d.jpg</a></a></a></a>' alt='Posted Image' class='bbc_img' />[IMG]//images.tapatalk-cdn.com/16/01/30/49097630ad31662434e326ae18f7f631.jpg>//images.tapatalk-cdn.com/16/01/30/49097630ad31662434e326ae18f7f631.jpg</a>>//images.tapatalk-cdn.com/16/01/30/49097630ad31662434e326ae18f7f631.jpg>//images.tapatalk-cdn.com/16/01/30/49097630ad31662434e326ae18f7f631.jpg</a></a>>//images.tapatalk-cdn.com/16/01/30/49097630ad31662434e326ae18f7f631.jpg>//images.tapatalk-cdn.com/16/01/30/49097630ad31662434e326ae18f7f631.jpg</a>>//images.tapatalk-cdn.com/16/01/30/49097630ad31662434e326ae18f7f631.jpg>//images.tapatalk-cdn.com/16/01/30/49097630ad31662434e326ae18f7f631.jpg</a></a></a></a>' alt='Posted Image' class='bbc_img' />[IMG]//images.tapatalk-cdn.com/16/01/30/a99feef874b57a20d6fe79bf558d06d1.jpg>//images.tapatalk-cdn.com/16/01/30/a99feef874b57a20d6fe79bf558d06d1.jpg</a>>//images.tapatalk-cdn.com/16/01/30/a99feef874b57a20d6fe79bf558d06d1.jpg>//images.tapatalk-cdn.com/16/01/30/a99feef874b57a20d6fe79bf558d06d1.jpg</a></a>>//images.tapatalk-cdn.com/16/01/30/a99feef874b57a20d6fe79bf558d06d1.jpg>//images.tapatalk-cdn.com/16/01/30/a99feef874b57a20d6fe79bf558d06d1.jpg</a>>//images.tapatalk-cdn.com/16/01/30/a99feef874b57a20d6fe79bf558d06d1.jpg>//images.tapatalk-cdn.com/16/01/30/a99feef874b57a20d6fe79bf558d06d1.jpg</a></a></a></a>' alt='Posted Image' class='bbc_img' />

good draining soil is what you need...

    Coco air
    Perilite
    and Sand works good too...

    With an organic soil mix

  3. If they do live can I transplant them into a better soil? And do you think they have any chance of living if I leave them in those cups. The soil is starting to dry quicker and the cups getting a bit lighter.

Ok I was reading about root rot and is it possible that's what is happening and if it is should I just toss these and start a new plant or is there anything I can do for these?

  8. It's definently a nitro deficiency. I would take them out of that soil and transplant into some other soil without so much bark content. Would also add perlite to my soil mix. 60% soil, 40% perlite. I would only water every 2 to 3 days with PH,d water. For your nitro def I would reccomend Dyna Grow Foliage and do 1/8 teaspoon per gallon of water. Don't over do it. Like a wise man told me, to much love is sometimes to much. Keep it simple

  9. Do you think coffee grounds would help in a low budget situation?

    no.....
    low budget... get sand anywhere...
rob potting soil from an old pot...
grind up leftovers...mix with potting soil
    read info...

  11. Old thread, I know. Just Overwatered some NL seedlings. Rapid rooter planted in coco/perlite in solo cups. Fixed the bloated droop overnight. TAMPONS! Hollow out a space in each cup (near the side to avoid the roots) and plop in a tampon or two. Pow! Fixed. Just in case anyone is cruising forums for answers.
