First time poster here...hi everyone! I am putting together my first grow set up. I have a 300 watt P300 LED and a 4'x4'x6' grow room lined with mylar. I would like to have 8 plants (northern lights) in this space but I am wondering if my single P300 is enough, or if I should add another light? Any ideas or suggestions are greatly appreciated..
What's the true wattage of your LED light? Most say something like 300w but only put out about half of that. I would definitely get another light. I have 2 leds in my 4x4 tent because the manufacturer said that each light was for 2x2 space. Try looking up the coverage of your light.
40 watts from the wall per sq/ft is nice, but that would be from white cob type led. You could do with a little less because they are so efficient. Look for Cree or vero emitters and Mean Well drivers that are used in the best lights. The good makers will list their components very specifically. Blurple sucks.
I have 2 p300 they burn 185 actual watts with both switches on. I use a g8 900 watt as my main and hang p300 on both sides with bloom only on. Works awesome so far 3-4 weeks left till harvest! Sent from my LG-H811 using Grasscity Forum mobile app
The light is a Platinum P300. I am not sure of the exact specs. I will either buy a second one or a G8LED 90 Watt for flowering.
I now have 7 sprouted seedlings...yay! plus, I reconfigured my grow closet. The new dims are 2' x 5' x 6'. I need an additional light to go with my P300 and wondering if I should go with another panel or a G8LED 90 Watt red LED. I've blown most of the budget but I have about $200 left to spend..so that rules out another P300. Any thoughts or suggestions are greatly appreciated
add a 400 hps i was told for a 3x3 and p450 so yes u need more man maybe just another led like a mars 2 700 if u want led only Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum mobile app
