Marijuana and leukemia? Share personal stories or experience?

Discussion in 'Medical Marijuana Usage and Applications' started by Tomber, Jan 29, 2016.

  1. Hey guys what's up.

So about one year ago I was diagnosed with leukemia. I (obviously lol) managed to survive however I have NOT been able to use marijuana to help myself because I was in the military and if I did then I would have been kicked out and also not received medical treatment. I was instead given multiple kinds of painkillers because that's what hospitals do.

Anyway my intensive care is over but I still have a little ways to go before I'm out of the woods. Does anyone have any info about leukemia and marijuana? Personal experience or stories are also welcome.

It really sucked to have to choose not to use marijuana because the latest and greatest in the world of leukemia treatment involves using a kind of chemo that was previously only for kids but now is given to adults. It's very poorly tolerated by adults and they typically give you several doses until your body can't take it anymore.

I am very fitness oriented and am also interested in hearing if anyone has any stories about being physically active during the couple years after the intensive care part. After having 9 spinal chemo injections I now refuse to have anymore because if I don't then I have a chance at working out daily, which is important to me.

  2. scope this, it's pretty informative. painkillers are not the way to go.

  3. Hi there. So sorry you were forced to do the chemo as your only choice of healing. There is actually heaps of stories about people getting the help they need with cannabis and in many cases, heals them fully. I'm not sure if we can put up link here but if you google a few key words, "Cannabis cures cancer leukemia", you will get much reading material. Good luck friend.
