I've been smoking bud for about 8 years now, but only been dabbing for a little under a year now. Recently I picked up 5g of some nice BHO. All was well for the first couple grams, so I don't think my concerns lie there. I'm down to my last gram, and ever since the third gram, my rig's been acting up. I use an American made titanium nail that I bought at Silika. Lately (last two weeks or so), dabs seem to be producing an insane amount of "vapor" when I exhale, some even taste like smoke more than their normal vapory flavor. I don't take any larger dabs than I used to. And they always smell like they're burning. On top of that, without fail, there always remains a small puddle of BHO in my nail that sits and smokes. I've fucked around and tried heating it less, more, etc. and get the same effect. Is it about time I need a new nail? I was told by the lady at the head shop that this nail would last me over a year, and it hasn't even gotten to that point yet. If it matters, I take 2-3 dabs a day on this nail. 4-5 a day on the weekends, of course.

Nah, the only thing that'll speed up the oxidation is getting it too hot or heating it while it's wet. TI is pretty resilient against most things.
Try smoking cleaner concentrates. Is there any such thing as solventless concentrates? Buble oil or bubble shatter? That sounds reiculous just saying it. But smoking puddles of butane sounds gross.
After cleaning it, my concentrates are vaping pretty well. The dispensary I get my stuff from is top notch. Sometimes some friends bring their stuff over and dab with me and they don't have medical cards. So I don't know if the recreational shops in the area just sell crummy shit or if they buy from someone they know.
