High Temp Dabs vs. Low Temp Dabs

Discussion in 'Seasoned Marijuana Users' started by translucentlylucid, Jan 24, 2016.

  1. I couldn't find a forum on this subject with decent replies so I decided I would start another one.

We all know everyone has a different opinion on temperature for dabbing. Personally, I have tried both (high and low) temperatures and have found that there's really no difference.

I don't know if anyone else watches customgrow420s videos on YouTube, but he does huge dabs and all kinds of cannabis related things on his channel. He clearly states that high temp dabs get you higher because "they vaporize all the concentrate". This could perhaps be true. When I take a high temp dab, the head rush is more intense, but the taste is terrible.

As far as low temp dabs go, they taste much better. They are delicious. I find the low temp dab high takes a little longer to come on but the high itself compared to a high temp dab high seems to be close to the same in intensity. However, after a lower temp dab there is a puddle left over in the nail. I'm wondering if low temp dabs waste the concentrate, whereas high temp vaporizes all the concentrate and therefore gets you higher.

High temp dabs could just have a placebo effect on me. I don't know. I prefer a medium temperature now after experimenting.

Anyone have any thoughts on this subject?
