Except it is fundamentally different because Obama was paid for my corporations, and Bernie is not.

You're right it will be different. Bernie will take more of my income and put more restrictions on my freedom.

  3. Except no he wont.

Socialism =/= communism. And Bernie isn't even socialist, he just thinks he is, because social programs are taboo in this country.

Unless you are president of a massive bank, you're freedoms will not be effected in anyway, in fact, depending on your lot in life, they may even improve, because you wont be tied to a job you hate just for the health insurance, or won't have to take on mountains of debt for a degree.

You can disagree with his policies all you want, but lying about the "scary socialist jew that wants your assault rifles" does not benefit your argument.

  4. why would I support someone who wants his top tax rate to be 52%?????

  5. It's a marginal tax, not a total tax.

It only applies to money made over $250k a year, and that one I believe only applies if you're making 10mil a year.

  6. So you're sitting it out because you're disillusioned over the treatment Ron got, or because you don't like Bernie ' policies?

I was for Ron Paul in 2012 (still in high school and didn't follow politics in 2008) and the treatment he got was atrocious, no doubt about it.

But I didn't give up, another challenger to the establishment appeared, and just like I was 100% Ron Paul, I'm 100% Bernie Sanders.

We can't expect change to just happen on its own, if we ignore the political process, things will only get worse

  7. At no point did I mention jews or assault rifles, so let's stick to what I actually posted. The ammount of money taken out of my paychecks will increase to pay for all of this free healthcare and education. All of these programs are going to cost a ton of money, which the government doesn't have so they will take it from taxpayers.

  8. I apologize, I'm just used to suing that when people start saying he's gonna take their freedoms away.

And unless you're making a lot of money, the increase in income tax is less than what you're spending on health insurance, so you're actually saving money.

Now if you can't afford, or are refusing to buy health insurance to spite Obama care (and yea it's a pretty shitty plan) then yes, you'll lose a little but of money. However you'll have guaranteed Healthcare, so it's kinda worth it

    *saying stupid broken edit

  9. Just to clarify I meant Obama care is shitty, not spiting it

  10. Assault rifles are already totally illegal without a federal firearms licence by the way.

And this matters why? A tax is a tax and theft is theft. Why do you think you are to take money from someone who has actually had a job in their lives no matter how much they made or how they made it?

Here's something that may have escaped your powers of observation, old people have been dying off forever. Where do you think they all went? And don't you understand as more young people become voting age, more voters will become old at the same time? That's the way birthdays work.
Now back up your statement "Unlike idiot old people, young people aren't influenced by campaign money" Did you read that somewhere or pull it out of your ass with the rest of the shit you come up with? Nice brain you've got. You should try it out.

  12. I didn't inow that about assault rifles, I just know people give him shit about his policy on them.

And if you disagree with the very nature of taxes, you're obviously not going to be swayed by pointing out it saves you money because you don't need to buy health insurance, or worry about copays or deductibles.

But as we established in the other thread, what you want to see happen is completely impossible unless there is a major shift in the way humans think, and overall become more altruistic, and I do not see that happening without using eugenics to cull bloodlines prone to being selfish instead of selfless.

So because someone has a different opinion than you, you wish to put them in a ditch and tried for treason, which legally can come with the penalty of death?

The internet brings out the best in you.

    Your parents must be proud.

  14. No one can protect this country. That's a meaningless platitude that politicians throw out to make the sheeple feel better about their lives. The president has very little ability to protect people. The sad fact that people need to accept is that if crazy people really want to kill others there's a good chance that it's going to happen. There's no need to spend billion/trillions of dollars and get rid of freedoms/privacy to try and stop something that is near impossible to stop.

    Yup. McCarthy had it right.

    Better dead than Red.

  16. This is what mindfucks me. How do you go from supporting Paul to supporting Sanders. I take the same issue with Bluntzilla on this. It just seems like you guys are on the populist band wagon and now you just want free shit at the expense of others while hiding behind the whole "it helps everyone" line.

@ x5xxAlexanderxx5x (you should really rethink all of those X's. You don't need that many x's.)

What is your stance on gun rights? State's rights? Should I be able to buy body armor if I wish to? Also, can I keep my doctor?

  17. lol McCarthy.

Lux, I'm not even sure why you bother with these clowns. None of them vote anyway, so their opinions are really of little consequence. Let them circle-jerk in their 1950's white supremacy golden era if they want to, they aren't hurting anyone. They'll hurt your brain if you take them too seriously, I learned that lesson the hard way.

  18. I supported Ron Paul because he had some good ideas and he was anti-establishment.

I support Bernie because he has good ideas, and is anti-establishment.

I would probably pick Bernie over Ron (and that would be an amazing election)

  19. See, how is he anti-establishment? Because he's never at the cool kids table? He wants to grow government. That's not anti-establishment.

  20. Go over to the Bernie thread, I wrote up a post explaining how he's against the wishes of the establishment.
