Using a perlite/coco blend...gh flora series. ... around 6 is ideal? I found a chart but it didnt have ideal ranges on it. I've heard of guys dropping the ph to 5.1 during weeks 4 and 5 to ward off cal-mag deficiency. Don't totally quote me on that, but if it works, I totally told you.
If anything that would cause a massive cal-mag deficiency, calcium and magnesium are better absorbed at at a higher pH not lower.
I tried to find the post I read that on, a few guys were agreeing. I may have been mistaken in why they were doing this...too many nights being half-asleep or fully baked behind the screen here. Sorry for my mis-information. But thank you for clarifying!
