First, I suffer from severe fibromyalgia and I choose to medicate with cannabis. I was on a break from smoking because of money issues and it was during this time I decided I wanted to learn lucid dreaming. I meditate, do reality checks, started a dream journal and was remembering dreams pretty well.
This past week I was able to get my meds and this whole week since starting to smoke again, I've been having trouble with my dream recall. Any suggestions? Besides stop smoking, which I am considering since I want to peruse this. I would try to switch to a high CBD strain (which I know is good for pain) to see if that helps but I'm in an illegal state and I doubt I could find that here. Does high CBD strains mess with dream recall as well?

    Thanks in advance.

  2. I'm surprised there aren't more lucid dreamers here. Though, cannabis does affect dreaming, so that would make sense.

But I'm wondering if it's because I finally got a pure Indica this time around.

  3. The only way is to stop sadly. Maybe try medicate during the day only and or higher CBD strains. Possibly try edibles ?
Cannabis effects REM sleep and its medicine so it kinda blacks you out and you don't seem to remember or have dreams at all.

Every time i cut back my dreams come back, I strongly believe besides medical needs she does not do well with every day use.

The other thing i can suggest is change of diet, cut out most of the artificial/processed foods and animal products and introduce more plant based foods and herbs & spices into your life. These helped me dramatically with pain as well as essential fatty acids, Chia/Hemp/Flax and other healthy fats like Avocado, Coconut and Olive oil. Steer clear of everything else.

    Meditation and Yoga helped too.

Sunlight/Vitamin D is also very good for everything make sure you get them rays daily :)
B-complex vitamins for energy, immunity, nerve, and brain function
Magnesium for muscle energy (Nuts & Seeds/Cacao)
Selenium for the best immune function (brazil nuts)
Vitamin C for oxidative stress (Liposomal or wholefood)
    Zinc for cell health
Iodine for thyroid health (Nascent/atomic) kelp/nori/wakame/sushi ect..

Lots of hydration and oxygen daily with exercise and rest is the best advice i can give.

  4. Cannabis teaches and reminds us of how amazing we can feel and be and shows us when we embrace the moment that we can replicate this feeling when not using the herb. From a spiritual perspective.

  5. It's very hard to even remember dreams when you smoke weed. So I dobut you will be able to have a lucid dream unless you quit weed for a while.

Blue Lotus is used for lucid dreaming. And also calea z. I have used both and worked extremely well. Have also given some to friends to try who also had great lucid dreams

  7. This shit is bomb. It's the Valerian that does the wonders. I've made pure valerian teas and they really mellow you down, not drowsy, but super mellow. I notice a little lethargy in the morning and sometimes I sweat heavy while I'm sleeping. The side effects are minimal (for me).

Thanks for the reply. Yeah, I'm in the midst of changing my life around.
I would love to try higher cbd strains but I'm in a non med state and I
don't have much choice in what I get. But everything else you said, I'm
working on, so I'm sure that will help in the long run.

  9. I haven't heard of Blue Lotus, I'll have to check that out. I've heard of calea z and was thinking of trying it out. Thanks
