It's true Somalia has gone to shit, but if a country that is already at war with each other and has mass amounts of poverty slips into anarchy the result will always be the same. This gives anarchy it's bad name. There have been a few enclaves that have worked until bigger outside forces have stepped in.
Idk, complicated question with a complicated answer. I have my economic and social leanings but nothing is absolute.
Maybe so I've still got to give it a read, I've heard it's a masterpiece a few times. But it certainly doesn't help people sway their opinions on anarchy.
Somlia has nothing to do with anarchy. It's a shithole that was made a shithole by governments and war lords. If you think Somlia has any connection to a free society you are sorely uninformed. Great book but that name really does not help the anarchist philosophy at all. Most anarchists are peaceful people who simply realize that they do not own other people out have the right to enforce victimless laws or initiate force against another human.
