Study on brain changes due to high potency weed

    Just saw this study that found a negative impact on the brain from weed smoking and it looks pretty scientifically sound. I'm used to shrugging off claims like this because of bad science but this seems like a pretty sound study. I think the article makes it sound worse than what the study says, but still I was wondering what you guys thought of this.

  4. I don't know how they reach higher and higher THC levels, and I didn't read the article lol but I imagine they are playing with the genetics of the plant. So, the very nature of fucking with nature is of a (presumably) negative. ...nature lol

    I read the "results" of the Cambridge one...presumably they is no account in the study for why someone would be a "daily user", i.e. why the correlation exists...they just assert that it's the THC.


    That said...being high most your waking hours would clearly have an impact on your brain's development..

     
  10. I'd like to see violence stats in CO and WA after 5 years of full blown legalization.

  12. Everything I can find shows a drop in violent crimes in both states since legalization.
