Why Is East Coast Weed So Bad?

Either youre from the west coast with a "my weed is holier than thou" attitude or from the East with a bad connect. East coast has fire

 

Yeah, we don't have bad weed, but good connects are harder to find than on the West Coast. Luckily I've never had to look past my family for dank.

 

Maybe the west coast has more quality because its legal in 3 states over there and medical in 7 or 8 states with cali being medical since i think 99. Just easier for people and companies to grow, its common sense why there is more bud on the west coast. But saying that, when i lived in florida i knew growers and they grow just as good bud as anything i have found out here in colorado.

 

I get dank in the east coast, where you live doesn't matter, where's there soil and a little green thumb. there's awesome weed that's able to be grown. What I'm smoking on ATM. Cheers

West coast: Weed is already a part of the culture and most states are either legal or have a medical system in place.
East coast: The laws are bullshit and if you are lucky it is "decriminalized" meaning it is still illegal and you still get in trouble for it.


Obviously on the west coast people are able to grow without repercussions and they can even sell their product in a storefront that inspects the weed for quality thus making high quality weed seem like the norm. Here on the east coast our growers are under a lot more pressure by the law and are literally risking their freedom and their livelihood to grow so given the circumstances the best quality isn't always an option when secrecy and discretion are higher priorities than quality control. Plus, there is a lot of sub-par commercial weed being grown by people who are concerned with just profit and the quality takes a hit.


At the end of the day, a good grower grows good weed regardless of where they live and there are plenty of good growers here in Asheville NC and there is some GREAT weed here. At the same time, I can rarely find any hash if I want it and I have yet to find a hookup for oil and other concentrates! So availability is a big issue and not to mention the very limited choices for strains. I just get what my dealer has, I pay a fair $40-$45 an eighth which in the southeast is a pretty sweet deal, but only once in a while do I even get the option to choose between two strains and it is even rarer to actually know what strain you are smoking unless you know the grower personally.


You folks out west don't know how lucky you are!!

 

I don't really care for FLA (wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy to hot for me, I like snow and winter) but by god if they were to legalize it the climate is just right there for some amazing outdoor sativa. I've had outdoor FLA weed before and it was easily just as killer as the stuff out west.

 

I agree with squidrick420. And also, you have to have good connects. Just got a new guy about a few months ago and he always produces dank.

The Pacific doesn't have to deal with places like the Jersey Shore, Myrtle Beach, Virginia Beach, or Florida so yeah... you guys win! Tourist beaches are the worst places on Earth!!!

I know ga, it's tough to find a good hook. There's a big unmentionable(s) problem here and it's highly religious so weed is "bad". But if you get lucky to find somebody, with good stuff and good prices (Usually 20 a g, but not from my guy), but I get stuff like gg4, which is what's in my jar right now.

 

I can guarantee that there is weed in East of the Mississippi every bit as good or better than what people get our West

 

Also west coast has the best growing atmosphere... Compared to the brutal winters...
